Thank you Lama Yeshe! 🙏You are such a great help on my path! I know likes and dislikes are something we should avoid, but I like you!😅❤️🙏 I am still human, not fully enlightened yet. Thank you for your wonderful teachings which are put in the most logical, understandable way!👏

Thank you Lama Yeshe, I'm trying to process your words and move from behaviour to finding compassion for all living beings. However, I'm struggling to accept your argument that we must not discriminate in our compassion because we do not know a person's history. There is a person, who I know very well, that comitted many acts of sexual assault. They had a wonderful upbringing. Their parents are kind and generous. I believe they commmitted sexual assault because their are deeply selfish. At their core, they think they are entittled to whatever they desire. How can I find compassion for this person?

I understand this is a difficult concept because we have been brought up to judge, but that is not going to bring us together as a human race. We may know someone's upbringing but we don't know what is happening inside their heads - it is sometimes difficult to know what is happening in our own heads. The point I was making was that compassion is not about behaviour. It is about wanting everyone to be happy and not suffer. What the person you are talking about is causing suffering to others by his behaviour. That is not acceptable. No one should support him in this behaviour. But that doesn't stop us having compassion for him as a human being. Having compassion for others help bond us together. If we judge and discriminate, we are just pushing us all apart.
