  • Learn how to make your own unique animated doodles without spending a dime or dealing with complex animation software. In this tutorial, I'll guide you step-by-step using your phone, whether it's an Android or iPhone. No need for expensive packs or After Effects - just follow these simple instructions.
First, ensure your phone is in dark mode and open the Notes app. Start screen recording with the built-in screen recorder, using a white pen. Begin drawing, keep a few seconds before deletion, and repeat the process. Once done, transfer the file to your computer.
I'll be using DaVinci Resolve, but you can use Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or other video editors. Drag your screen recording into the editor, trim it, and crop the footage to remove UI elements.
Here's the magic: change the composite mode to "screen," making your doodles transparent. Cut out the in-betweens, and voila - you have custom doodle animations! Get creative, duplicate elements, reverse speeds, and add effects for a personalized touch.
Keep in mind, stick to black and white for transparency. It's a small trade-off for the incredible custom look you can achieve in your videos. I'm upping my motion graphic and animation this yr and I've already included this cool tip in the extro to a piece I'm working on right now. It's fits right into my metamodern style.@@cinnamontography94
