It's heartbreaking to see Ethan's hopes dashed at every turn, especially when he finally gets a glimmer of hope with the jailhouse lawyers offering to help. But justice seems like a distant dream for him.

With parol a 25 to life sentence means he could have been out after only actually serving 10 years so if this guyreally was a model convict he would have already been released according to this fairytale.
Very good story that highlights the injustice that seems to be all too common in certain places. At least, after it was all said and done, those who worked for and deserved good karma received it, while those deserving bad karma got their just desserts 👍👍...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
M from a small town NE Pennsylvania population 801 my family tree went up like a telephone pol.the Justice of Peace lawyers cops judges were all who I grew up with friends of the family even the truancy officer was my second cousin.the chef of police deputy EMS and paramedic were all fathers sons and daughter.nothing in the town was missed lots swept under the rug i can relate to every thing in this storyline.
It turns out, karma came for both the corrupt sheriff and the previous prosecuting attorney for putting an innocent man in prison for a crime he didn't commit.
