Damiano Tommasi - 14 goals in Serie A (Roma 1996-2006)

Damiano Tommasi, born 17 May 1974 in Negrar (Italy). 261 games and 14 goals in Serie A, playing as midfielder with Roma. From 1996 to 2006 he played 10 Serie A seasons, winning 1 Serie A and 1 Supercoppa Italiana, both in 2001. In 2015 he was inducted in AS Roma Hall of Fame.
After winning 1996 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, Tommasi earned 25 caps for Italy (1998-2003), scored 1 goal and was a member of the team that took part in the 2002 World Cup.
From 2011 to 2020 he served as the president of the Italian Footballers' Association, before starting a political career. Since June 2022 he is Mayor of Verona.
