I know it ain’t necessarily a Death Korps of Krieg Kriegmariner, but this music paired with “downtime soldiers” who watch their post et al (alongside those going through the motions before shit hits the fan): it recreates an aura and side of them that people don’t take seriously (or dismiss as “nonsensical”). They still are human, they ain’t Jesus Christ where they can be perfectly dedicated to the task for the fulfillment of something Great/Good: obedient and loyal however they may be. Anyways: love the somberness, a melancholy that’s rhythmical and impossibly/subversively upbeat (or perhaps I have yet to find a music-piece that genuinely will 100% always make my eyes ball out: got me for a second there). Will check the rest of the album out, hope people at least give it a listen and a nice word.
