சரித்திர நாவல்களின் நாயக எழுத்தாளர் அமரர் திரு.கல்கி அவர்கள் எழுதிய புதினங்களில் ஒன்று "சிவகாமியின் சபதம்". சோழர்களை மட்டுமே நாம் கவனித்திருக்க, பல்லவர்களின் வீரத்தையும், ஆட்சியின் மேன்மையையும் நமக்கு சொன்னது மட்டுமல்லாமல் கலைத்திறனையும், கலையின் மேல் வைத்திருந்த மதிப்பையும், அவர்களின் படைப்புகளையும் நமக்கு சொன்னது "சிவகாமியின் சபதம்".
இந்தச் சரித்திரப் படைப்பை அப்படியே வாசிக்கும் திறனுள்ள பலர் இந்தத் தளத்தில் இருந்தாலும் இப்போதைய தலைமுறைக்கும், தமிழ் வாசிக்கத் தெரியாதவர்களுக்கும், இலக்கியத் தமிழ் புரியாதவர்களுக்கும் பயன்படும் வகையில் இதை நடைமுறைத் தமிழில் பல இணைத் தகவல்களையும், கிளைக்கதைகளையும் சேர்த்து என்னுடைய புரிதலில் இந்தக் காவியத்தை உங்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்ப்பதில் பெருமை கொள்கிறேன்.

Thank you so much for your overwhelming support and appreciation for presenting “PONNIYIN SELVAN” in easy to understand and casual Tamil. Further to the success of Ponniyin Selvan, I present “SIVAKAMIYIN SABATHAM” - yet another epic novel of Thiru.Kalki. This novel focuses on the bravery and excellence in governance of Pallava dynasty and it also focuses on their interest on Art and Culture. Though there are many enthusiastic Tamil lovers in today’s media, who are reading this novel like an audio book, I wish to present this epic novel to today’s generation and those who can’t read Tamil, but can understand simple spoken Tamil. One more highlight of my version is that I present loads of additional information/facts about Pallava dynasty and some short stories related to this epic novel to make it more interesting and relevant to today’s times. Here is “Sivakamiyin Sabatham” in my understanding, releasing three times in a week - MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY, starting from 30 Sep 2020, in all forms of Podcasts, partnering with IVM Podcasts.
