Thank you for your nice comment. This is the Tanna Flight Area in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, where you can still see the autumn leaves, contrasting with the green of the conifers, and the snow-capped Mount Fuji.
@@skylinecityhiacesurf Nice flying, looked a little choppy, I dare say if you stay up too long, nausea can set in in those conditions, but it's definitely worth it for a unique and breath-taking view.
@The_Hollow_Hoax I controlled it by shifting my weight. I was moving by my own will, so I didn't get seasick. I flew for about 50 minutes up to 830m above sea level. The wind conditions were good that day, and the high-performance glider rose to about 2000m.
Cool video! Is this site far from Tokyo? I am visiting japan next summer and would dream to do a flight there, but it id little chance that I can do it... I fly hanglider here in Switzerland.
Thank you for your nice comment. It takes 45 minutes and 4 stops by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Atami Station. Atami Station is on the coastline of Sagami Bay on the right side of the video, and is famous for its hot springs. The landing site in the Tanna area is surrounded by rice fields. In the summer, it is rice growing season, so visitors, including Japanese people, are not accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
@@paicolman I am very impressed with your reply in Japanese. I am looking forward to your visit to Japan after the rice harvest is over in the fall. I found a Japanese hang glider shop that rents gliders. However, the page is in Japanese and it is a shop in a different hang glider area. Please refer to it. www.opa.co.jp/school_and_club/club-school-price-list/
@ thankyou very much! I will look at it, maybe I can take one day to at least fly once in Japan, would be so cool! If you happen to come to europe some time let me know if you want to fly in the alps!! 😉
@@paicolman I watched your UA-cam. The video of Interlaken was vast and the scenery was amazing. What's more, your video editing was excellent. I'll use it as reference in the future.
Spectacular scenery, just beautiful.
