"Light late and eyelash We tear off it so fast Build it up and build that wall I guess I don't know you at all Every minute well I like it Push it up from the underworld At least I still show At least I'm the same old Lost bunnies will prowl and roam, lost bunnies will wear the crown Although it don't matter now their cares and woes are gone I'm a powerful monster watch me knock it back on solid ground Lost bunnies will tire themselves but they'll always wear the crown They'll say that we're silly boys It's a wonder that we get by Think it's gone to our heads Choose some other boys instead"
I adore Robert's lyrics, but there's only one tiny mistake, it's "Glass Bunnies". Robert never provides the exact lyrics,, because even if it's written down, he'll change some wording while recording and performing. He really enjoys being unpredictable and only he gets away with it so easily. No matter, thanks....
With Robert nothing is as it seems: "Glass Bunnies" is a term in the gay community meaning "young gay boys". I'm sorry to everyone who believes Robert's singing "Lost Bunnies" ― Now that you know this, does the song takes-on a new meaning or not .....??? I don't care what happens in other people's bedrooms; nor, should anybody worry about what I do in mine. Yet, "Not A Waste of Sky" is also a formative work, where Robert was still adjusting his vocal techniques. Robert has a love for the Cocteau Twins and Elizabeth Fraser's technique of "vocal origami", so it inspired him to develop a similar technique, which meant dropping out certain consents and stretch out the vowel sounds. Not many musicians can accomplish this feat, but everyone should enjoy the work for the works sake. Robert developed and molded his voice, as every singer does, except for maybe rap artists. Even the synthesizer keyframe's are off-alignment somewhat, or, just enough for me to hear ― However, none of these problems take away from enjoying TR/ST's music.
@Zing Raccoon Robert is out and very proud in the LGBTQA+ community. That's not why his lyrics are sometimes inaudible and hazy, everything surrounds his showmanship and creativity. He loves to use a special "vocal origami" technique by folding the text so you almost understand what he's saying, but it's not blunt or directly communicated; plus, his range is excellent and I personally enjoy his particular "growl". "Glass Bunnies" was a derogatory slang term in English, but the replaced term has changed into what are now referring to as "Tweeking Twinks". Robert's sometimes blunt, like in "Dressed For Space" and it's really about his own self-reflection. In my comment there, I said he's describing a very hot homoerotic encounter in a party-and-play (PNP) session, with a one-night-stand hook-up after a long dry spell from sex. I love it because it's very visual when you think about it. His chorus goes: "It's been a while, I'm made of ribbon He's been inside, Now I'm full of him T'ill he knows when, Our clear in goal I'm dressed for space, Now can I go?" You can just almost smell the sweat and sex oozing from his video. I think it's obvious he's talking about smoking methamphetamine, then bottoming in a missionary position, his "date" finishes first, then he rolls on a condom, and is asking to "reverse" the position. There's loads and loads of sexual innuendo and someone pointed out there is a small blip, which looks like a momentary pixilation; but, really it's the chemical composition of methamphetamine. He sings about the more seedy underworld of gay life, but when you're young we all make questionable decisions. ua-cam.com/video/mjwM0eIQ6Rc/v-deo.html I'm sorry that you suffer in Eastern Europe and I've only heard of the rumors, what happens to LGBTQA+ people, who get caught, but that's why so many go to large cities like Berlin, London, or Paris. I had to escape to Los Angeles, but before there I could only hold my boyfriends hand in San Francisco. Yeah, it sucks; but, not in a good way either. My homepage has gay musicians' of all different types. Thanks.....
@@rubenthekid Well, it's like what they say "Live and Let Live", but your enjoyment of TR/ST's music doesn't mean anything "good" or "bad". Remember, this particular song was done over a decade ago, when people were obsessed with lyrics and their meaning. I always thought that it never really mattered, but there are always those people who can't stand to be proven wrong, especially when they have no understanding of a musician's history. Robert is still a good human being, who'd never hurt another person, so it's a shame some people don't understand that fact. As a side note: You'd never suspect I was gay by my looks, voice, or actions ― I'm simply me. Yet, I'm personally very happy you enjoy Robert's music, because it's "just too good to ignore". That shows real personal growth, because music has no sexuality at all.
Good, especially 2:53 - 3:24, but I prefer the chorus of the Trust version. This version's a little too kooky, haha. And why is there like a chat pop-up window sound at 3:53?
Addictive sound I come back to UA-cam serching it again again
thank you!!!!

"Light late and eyelash
We tear off it so fast
Build it up and build that wall
I guess I don't know you at all
Every minute well I like it
Push it up from the underworld
At least I still show
At least I'm the same old
Lost bunnies will prowl and roam, lost bunnies will wear the crown
Although it don't matter now their cares and woes are gone
I'm a powerful monster watch me knock it back on solid ground
Lost bunnies will tire themselves but they'll always wear the crown
They'll say that we're silly boys
It's a wonder that we get by
Think it's gone to our heads
Choose some other boys instead"

@@spinglasshydra Honestly, I despise the gay shit in the lyrics, but the music is just too good.
