Hearing Dropout mentioned is always so surreal. Like it feels so indie and like personal but like it’s also extremely popular and viral now. (Side note my favorite D20 is also Crown of Candy)
Only significant house rule we had growing up was not being able to finish on a +4 or a wild. Meant using them to shape the game not to finish the game.
in vic’s case they’ve changed to they/she but i feel like people end up using she as a default instead of they which sucks (normally the preferred pronoun comes first) and then steve got corrected midway and used they/them from then on (idk if you got that far). appreciate your comment btw
