I have added luminous hour markers to G-Shock 2110 and converted it to look almost like a black model.

My initial plan was to buy the all black one, but unfortunately that is too expensive even in used market. But one day while browsing, I found this 2110 yellow for a very cheap price, I instantly decided to buy and mod it with yellow lume, so that it also matches the yellow G-Shock logo. Happy that it worked out.

Finally done it! Looks so awesome, but I think looks better on the yellow bezel and strap tbh. The yellow ga-2100 is by far my favorite in the whole lineup
like the yellow too, I used to occasionally interchange between them, but too bad the yellow doesn't actually go with my skin color 😅

I’m in between keeping my all black one stock or modding for lume. Yours came out great man it looks awesome
If yours is full black version, don't mod it. Usually there are 3 options for lumed hour markers: blue, yellow and white. The full black version has muted/darkened white hands, which is a mismatch. Later I bought the full black ga2100, bought the white lume, looked bad to me then changed it back to stock.
Btw, I had also swapped the strap, used the combi bracelet that comes with Bluetooth 5600. Makes the watch super comfy. But there still were a slight color mismatch. The combi bracelet was a little bit darker then the watch bezel.

Very nice, did you test the waterproofing after removing the caseback?
Washed hand regularly with it in my wrist, and sometime cleaned it under tap water. Because I had to only remove the back, so I don't think waterproofing was compromised.

That was a dust blower I was using. It's like a rubber balloon type thing with steel nozzle used to blow high pressure air. Just search with "lens dust blower", you will find it. Very cheap.

Do you need to regrease the gasket since you opened it? Is the watch still water resistant?
No I did not grease it. It was greasy enough when i was putting it back. No issues with waterproofing. I use my watches during cooking and washing dishes.
The reason we put grease while putting rubber band materials between metal (or any other) contacts is to lower the chance of rubber material to be ripped or damaged because of friction.

Sorry to say but your G shock 2110 looks like a fake. Too many details don't look right. Watch a comparison vid that explains what a fake looks like.
If you are talking about the black bezel and strap, you are right, it was 3rd party, and the quality was not top notch. But, later I swapped them with original bezel and strap. As, for the module, it is original.
