DC United was the inventor of support. The Latinos came OUT to see that team. The colors were sexy, the play was swashbuckling, the soccer was attractive and it was basically an extension of a Central/South American/Mexican team. Alas, the fanbase eroded, the stadium eroded and I pray United get it back to those days...and not change their all-black scheme. That's tradition.
I was there with my father that day. It rained the entire time and I loved every minute of it.
Vamos United.
Marco Echeverre was such a superb player for DC United, really fun to watch.
it’s sad to see the current state of dc LOL
I hope DCU gets it back together and brings the crowds back. Makes me sad to see this huge crowd and compare it to today's lackluster crowds at RFK.

The signing of Etcheverry and Moreno was a hell of a move by the club. After all DC has the biggest bolivian cologne in the US. Smart smart move
Also, I had long hair at the time. Shortly thereafter I cut it short and died it blond 'cause I wanted to look like Jaime Moreno!
same here, had a great time
'Golazo', lol
