Those carrot tops. Leave about half an inch of the carrot soak the whole in water for a day and plant it somewhere with regular water. The will grow and give you carrot greens for a long time till they flower. Than you will have wild carrots sprouting out everywhere in your yard.

After 0:48 gets super awkward, looks like a steamy porn film about vegetables 😂

I understand that this is the essence of food as theater but if I saw someone peeling a carrot like that I'd warm the back of their head.

Grant Huddlestone LMAO I know right?! As an actual business owner, could you imagine what the labor cost would be if you peeled 16lbs of carrots like that? Lol

It's called appreciation, folks. The difference between out of season shitty GMO produce and heirloom seasonal produce grown in the right environment is night and day. It's a beautiful thing and if you cook for a living, you come to respect and love produce that is properly cared for.

Thank you! Started scrolling down the comment section and was shocked by all the braindead comments. Some videos on youtube requires from you to be over 18 years old. For videos like this, there should be a warning in the beginning stating..."Not for retards!".

I used to appreciate chefs like that, now I just feel embarrassment. Dear chef, there is nothing exciting about peeling a damn carrot, you do not need to write an essay about it. Give me more Inaki Aizpitarte

Was it pretentious or just pompous? It's a fucking carrot. You aren't performing brain surgery. When art snobs meets culinary snobs.
