There are many excellent renditions od this most beautiful aria. Quite a lot of singers even nail the high F which Juan Diego Florez has never done. However, what strikes me whenever I listen to JDF is extraordinary, noble purity and simplicity of rendition, faultless taste in combining such elements as phrasing, tempo, dynamic differentiation, emotion. His every performance is an example of perfect musicality and harmony magnified by the beauty of his voice.
Totally agree with you. I prefer Florez for my favourite composer, Bellini, because his siging is as delicate as is Bellini's belcanto. And with Machaidze, he makes Puritani into a wonder of music and love...
I agree Florez sings with noble Art and the high Notes are brillant, molto bravo, this high F is not necessary, because the wonderful Voice is so wonderful and Needs not more

Flores, con il timbro "pecorella" da bambina cattiva e' insopportabile. Come Arturo poi non ci siamo. C'e' di meglio.
