Thanks..I am a 40 years old man sitting on a sofa in Sousse, Tunisia, having a cup of coffee and I feel like I have been teleported to New York,USA, in 1994.
Ngl though, the backdrop had me waiting for Brad saying “What’s in the box!!!” It’s only a few years after Illmatic too. Everybody talking about the good old days vibes, confirmed
R.I.P to my childhood friend he was a huge Nas fan(i am too) he would be going nuts seeing this.... miss u my boy gone but not forgotten.... K.Murph(Kevin Murphy) 😢😢😢😢
Hands down this is one of the best things Ive EVER seen online, ....you did this American Classic so much justice. The only thing that would ever top this would actually be Nasir Jones fronting this band Live in that field, the internet would a solutely break.
You guys are talented AF, I’m 42 and loving everything about you guys. Literally washing dishes vibing out bobbing my head the entire time as my 4 year son 🧒 watches me and enjoys watching you too. If you guys ever get a chance please tour out here in Sacramento,Ca or the Bay Area.
What a great set. I have thoroughly enjoyed your music for a handful of months now. So much that I ended up showing my dad your channel. We are both very fond of what you guys are putting out there. Keep up the good work. We’ll be here to listen, watch and support! Big love OMA
As a super fan of Nas and everything he’s done over 30 years, this was excellent! I remember the first time I heard “It Ain’t Hard to Tell” play on the radio! I knew right away that Nas was going to be my favorite MC because I was a fan of his style and everything Queens, NY. What you guys did here was just amazing and pleasant to hear from a fan of all genres of music and an Old School B-boy Hip Hop head! One Love!
This is some of the best visualization of "acid jazz" i have ever seen. Very good location to just chill and enjoy yourself. Whether you are the musicians playing, or me sitting at home watching.
i think this is brilliant. the way you youngsters did it, so close to the original, amazing work. happy to see that classics keep on eternally living for those of us who grew up with it. i love that guy at 1:50 just casually passing by in the open field while your band performs in the middle of nowhere in fron of some big windmills, great scene. the unpredictable human element. i wonder what he was thinking or if he saw you there. as a Nas fan, hearing this in the middle of an open space randomly like that i would ve been blown away and just incredibly happy.
Yo, this is so LIVE!! They picked the all time classic. Literally this album was lyrically and beat wise way before its time. It was the Mona Lisa of hip hop. Don't sleep! Big Up! From the 216 to the 602 ....
Fabulous guys. Reminds of the Amercan band, Mulatto who were Nas first live backing band and toured worldwide and made many live TV appearances w Nas. They were fr California and one of the best ever live hip hop instrumental bands of their time.
You guys are fantastic! Thanks for keeping the spirit of Hip Hop alive... Keep on rocking! And Id love to hear Eric B and Rakim Follow the Leader Album!
I am here for these long form performances. I can imagine they take some time to set up but you guys set and execute a vibe that I'm about. Thank you. 🙏🏾
I came across your channel by accident, since then i play your sets daily. Keep up the good work! Also, you should make a vinyl :D I would buy all of them
