Two Fantasy Strawberry dessert: Cake and Galette

Now is summer time and strawberry picking season. You can make these quickly and delicious dessert with strawberries. These are easy recipes and useful for beginers.
Ingredient for strawberry cake:
Egg 2
vanilla extract 1tsp
sugar 1 cup
plain yogurt 1/2 cup
vegetable oil 1/3 cup
flour 2 cups
baking powder 1 tbsp
Ingredient for strawberry galette:
butter 50 g
flour 100 g
30 ml of cold water
egg 1
For the filling: strawberries
sugar 2 tablespoons
starch 1 teaspoon
To make shortbread dough, start by mixing flour with pieces of cold butter, rubbing them together with your hands until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add one egg yolk and cold water, and knead the dough quickly. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the strawberry confit by cooking chopped strawberries with sugar and starch in a saucepan until it boils, then blend the mixture.
Roll out the chilled dough to a thickness of 3-4 mm, spread the strawberry confit over it, and top with strawberry slices. Shape the edges of the dough and, if desired, sprinkle with sugar and decorate with almond petals. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (347°F) for 25-30 minutes, depending on your oven. Allow the shortbread to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!🍓
