I grew up in Kent...on North Lincoln Street...haven't been back for a few decades but from the video here the downtown area sure has changed...I graduated from both Roosevelt HS and Kent State...Living in Columbus now so a visit back to Kent is not that far to travel...Go Flashes!

Add another pro to the list- getting around. PARTA & Uber/Lyft. Pre-Covid19 there were tons of Uber/Lyft to get around. I drove Uber 2016-20 til I went self employed. Most of the drivers I know are driving again now that all restrictions are lifted.

I used to live in Kent, and heck I lived there ever since I was born, and which mean I lived there until I was 7, and the then we moved to the worst apartment complex of 2019 in new Albany

@@livinginnortheastohio8643 yeah I didn’t like it. I was just depressed, there was crime it wasn’t great. But atleast we moved to a place for a little and then moved to a even better place. I still miss Kent tho. I lived on north pearl street and I liked living there! I was sad when we moved out but I hope I can live in Kent again.

You should do stow, west of kent and brimfield, south of kent
I do plan on doing more videos in Stow, Hudson, Twinsburg, and Akron. I do like Brimfield, especially the location. Just outside of Kent and access to 76 in minutes.
Hey! I live in Kent Ohio and you did miss out on a pro of how peaceful it is here and how nice it is to go to Downtown kent and have a good time and you can't forget the walking trail!

@@livinginnortheastohio8643 And yes when all the students leave its like peace to us. And before covid hit the bars would be packed and everything was fun during holidays and recently 2 officers were shot but they are both ok and most likely back on duty I believe
@@jaguar323 I haven't been to the bars in Kent in a while but my cousin went out and he said their was a good amount of people out which is good... and really?! I'll have to look in to that, that's crazy!

Two tips. 1. work on good audio levels, I had to crank my volume from where it was watching about 10 other videos. 2. > is greater than, not less than. Good video though.

Nice, where are you stationed at? The best thing about Kent is the vibe. Since the university is here you’re gonna see a bunch of people out and about all the time. They are opening up a few more shops in the coming year so it’s definitely growing.
