Insurance companies are probably cancelling their flood insurance policies ahead of the storm. 🤣🤣
They have been very active making people get new roofs
where I live in The Villages. I'm one of them.
@@george6252I'm in Summerfield and yeah been seeing a lot of sketchy things going on with it... making it impossible to live here...
Texas agrees😂
Yeah when I lived in commie fornia mine cancelled my entire policy while a wildfire was coming towards our home. Not joking they really did. It was paid up to date too. They did this over the phone.
Praying for everyone safety in the path of this storm 🙏
Florida 🇺🇸 is watching of the hurricane watch of Helene 🌀 as it moves up in the Gulf of Mexico, Tallahassee Florida 🇺🇸 will get lot’s of winds and heavy rain this week. 🌧️ ⚠️
Was at ground zero on 8/24/92 Country Walk . Always feel for those who are on the bullseye and get hit . Now with home insurance state costs going up , its multi layer problems AFTER the storm , which is more painful if u survive as I did with Andrew in 1992 , its the human red tape that hits harder than the storm. Reason its harder, you are down . I was down . My neighborhood was bulldozed to the ground , took 2.5 yrs to rebuilt . Rent payment and mortgage on a home that was only a concrete slab . So all of this weather related problems , is not man made , which the man made problems hurt worse . Florida has been home since 1966 , all parts of Florida or in the United States has its on problems as I have tried to live in other places , but here we are , can it be better ? Yes , but it can worse . I share because I care , because this weather is but a small part of the larger problem . ENJOY EACH DAY . 1 DAY AT A TIME .
Enjoy Mr Norcross and his insights on the hurricaine, thank you sir.. much❤ from Florida.
As a truckdriver I've seen my fair share of hurricanes, was staged on I-75 in Ocala for charlie, was in Ivan(both times) and one of the few that can say I was in Katrina's eye, folks listen to this man and take shelter get out ahead time and be safe.
Attention..Please Share...Anybody with pets, please keep them inside and safe. If you leave, take them with you. If you see strays and are able, please have a heart and give them shelter. Help save those unable to save themselves. These poor furbabies don't deserve to die. Every life matters, every soul counts. God Bless!
@@spoiledwitch36 Don't worry, the Haitians will take care of the strays
Bryan is a brilliant meteorologist with deep experience. Your channel is very fortunate to have him.
He amazing he got me threw hurricane andrew whennwe had that hurricane
I was a kid with Andrew but he certainly called it then so I make sure to watch his take on hurricanes. He has a talent.
@@kristenmeunier8574 yes i jad graduatited that year when Andrew hit miami was in coral gables area we lost a window. An no power 3 weeks 100 dg heat. Its no joke guys keep up ur food water. Stay safe if as to evaciate pleas do so
Thanks as always. From south FL. WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER your carrying us through the night, AUG 24 , 1992. Hurricane Andrew WPLG ch 10.
Thank you for all you do and your calm manner
@@donnaval919 he is absolutely the greatest. Been trusting him since Andrew as well. ☺️
Lived in Florida & went through Andrew. Bryan was the best. I stayed glued to his forecast, till power went out!.
I lived in Broward county.
Always watched Bryan.
Was only a depression when I left for vacation up north. Almost went into a ditch driving when I heard Andrew barreling down on South Miami.
Knowing that entire area, I was heartbroken for everyone. Bryan saved many lives
Bryan did save many lives, especially in Country Walk and surrounding areas. Spent the night in the bathroom with 3 dogs and 3 cats then lost power for 7 days. The neighbors across the street retained power and took great care of all of us. Bryan is the best !!!
Lived in Lauderdale in the 80s and 90s. WPLG was channel 10 that had Dwight Lauderdale and Anne Bishop as main anchors. Brian Norcross was on the weaker station of either channel 4 or 6. I think channel 4. CBS or NBC affiliate. I was using a portable tv that picked up uhf and vhf channels. Channel 10 and WSVN 7 came in as good as it got. And both channel 4 and 6 were very fuzzy, but I do recall Norcross sitting with co-hosts in the back parts of the studio.
Bryan Norcross! The GOAT.
Of course I work the weekend on the ambulance this coming week 😅 Should be an interesting Appalachian weekend... Wishing luck and good health to everyone in the path.
Just as soon as Helene clears the Yucatan and Cuba. BOOM?!!
FLOX News? New station….
Love this guy! He’s so thorough, explains so the lay person can understand.
He realizes many of us have family in Florida (my daughter & family - husband in Air Force) & we Grandmas worry. Thank you, Fox Weather!
That whole state should have been a National Preserve......
Did i haear party tim??🎉🎉
Tampa region escapes yet another storm 🙏🏼 This area is very protected. We don’t get these storms. Time to get back to my reality, because work is not stopping and it’s business as usual.
Tampa and Pinellas County ain’t escaping a damn thing. With all the rain we’ve had in last 3-4 weeks the grounds lakes rivers are all saturated already so all this water has no where to go plus we still are getting 70+ winds. No clue what you’re talking about 🤣🤦♂️You ain’t working Thursday bro.
I’m working
Dont speak to soon
WWWEATHERMODIFICATION👎👎👎
Thanks, from Orlando.
Hey bryan miss ya im nc
Thanks from Tampa
Hello everyone I'm reporting from the eye of the hurricane right now!!
@@desertweasel6965 I was here for Ian, you don’t know yet
In Georgia, on the line with the warning. Prayers for Florida and all of us in the path. We are getting ready now.
I'm right in the center of the path!! It's coming for me and my property like a bunch a Venezuelan gangsters. I hope they don't eat my dogs and cats!!
Well, Florida... no matter what the results are, you can count on the insurance companies either bailing out or increasing your rates tremendously.👍🙄
It’s crazy Tampa again is keeping its 100+ years of no direct hit of a hurricane. It’s really a protected area
Stephen Carl Murphy, Stephen Carl Murphy Company.
It’s going to hit more east towards Cedar Key
That's not a stretch -- these things aways shift and have a mind of their own, and Cedar Key is pretty close to the edge of the current cone as is -- I think this is going to wind up being stronger than they're projecting as well
@@MoMoMyPup10I agree from FMB
It’s gonna shift hard to the east from the low pressure system combined with warm waters….I see it just south of Tampa but 🤷♂️
Only thing Dramatic is the damn news people....
@@tlh75 fr they overhyping it
How are they being dramatic??
We need to know this stuff 🙄
No doubt
Make every storm the biggest the worst lol yeah right , like telling us last year the water in the gulf is over 100 degrees yeah sure it is( not )
The coach.. Brian.. go get em
it was suppose to be a hurricane early afternoon yesterday it took till this afternoon for it to become a hurricane. This has been a song and dance all summer storms weaker then forecasted
I think that's what we want. I wouldn't want them to come in way worse than I'd prepared for. Better to prepare for the worst and get better, if you ask me.
El hurricane es muy macho!
@@chrisf8855 it's huracan in Spanish...but OK.
@@petmedichomestead6241 No sheeeiit. I used the English word on purpose.
Just curious what would make the track move back to the northwest once it's well inland?
Farts. A lot of people have gas in southern Alabama and all the farts will end up pushing the hurricane east.

Stop heating the planet they said, the climate will get more extreme they said, ...
Brian I watched you since I moved here from New York in 1974 I live in Central Florida in Spring Hill what can I expect from this storm
Bruh I live in west palm am I cooked you guys???😳😳😳
Thank you Brian! You’re simply the best!
...have a pontoon in your backyard...prayers, ❤ y'all...
Bryan you won't compare most hurricanes to Andrew so I'm really watching with this one. I'm in Marion County FL but not to close to the coast so I'm hoping....
If you rebuild make them concrete or Round! Some islands build them like that with rebar and wirhstand Cat 4's
Please, PLEASE don't evacuate without your pets!!
You still have time to get carriers if you need them 😿
Don't overthink it; one carrier per pet, food, water, meds, litter, etc. Many hotels allow pets, shelters too now 🙏🥺
Just had the first band come through my area of siesta key. Duration about 7 minutes. Initial gust was about equal to a bad thunderstorm. Right now back to a soft breeze.
Thorough detailed interpretation of this incoming storm thank you so much
We are escaping again thanks be to the mighty Destin Dome! Poor big bend just keeps getting hammered.
This one’s gonna be a beauty
Habibi is coming home. The RainMaker was here.
Brian all dressed up 👍🔥
If it hits at high tide its an additional three feet ! The one Weather man said high tide is three feet there
im orlando area but we're still nervous
We know that hurricanes all go to Louisiana.
Let it go more west we need to work construction wise😅
Is she heading to Missouri?
40 days dad will be home
