Thanks for showing how mountaintop and whisper would perform in GMs. I took a break from D2 to play Borderlands 3 during the time mountaintop / recluse was the meta so I never knew what the hype was about. Now MT seems like an excellent utility weapon, I got a spike/ALH/Vorpal one that I’m going to hold on to.
That sounds like a great roll! I will farm for more mountaintops myself when I have more time as I want to have more options as well. For me personally Mountaintop is a brand new weapon as I started playing Destiny right before sunsetting so I have never really used the OG Mountaintop (or Recluse).
It's been a wee while since my beloved Mountaintop was featured on a solo GM vid. Leave it to the Keer individual to make it happen against all odds (and ads). Cheers!
Fun fact - I started playing Destiny about 2 weeks before sunsetting so I have almost never really used the og Mountaintop. Almost all these weapons "coming back" are new for me :)
Wait, if you cheese the blights on the racetrack and still go on the entire racetrack, the area before the final boss will spawn the enemies? Me and my friends would skip the race entirely with the hoverboard and wondered why no enemies would spawn.
The roll highly depends on the activity you are doing. Here I had auto-loading holster and it worked well as that's how I wanted to use Mountaintop. I would prefer Vorpal instead of Frenzy though, but I don't have it yet. I wouldn't mind trying out ALH/Recombination combo if I ever get it as that seems to be synergistic. If you want to spam it, then you have a variety of options available with Ambitious Assassin, Impulse Amplifier, Demolitionist all being good depending on your build. Hope this helps
17:54 man it took me 30 minutes to find out how this stun is possible. learned something new. but do you need the specific Spark of Ion Fragment or is any volt weapon + kill enough ?
You need to apply Jolt to an Overload champion and then do some damage to trigger the Jolt tick. It can be Spark of Ions fragment that will make your arc grenades apply Jolt and stun overloads. Or it can be Voltshot on any weapon, you don't even need to be on Arc then. Hope this helps!

Yeah you would need 1 person to go the normal way through the racetrack so you can progress, otherwise no enemies would spawn
What do u feel is the best roll for Mountaintop? Also, taking Arc to this Nightfall just feels right lol
