I read the book before I saw the movie. When Finch didn't reply after Violet's repeated shouts of Marco, I almost threw the book across the room. I was completely broken by it. There's something I've always said since reading "All the Bright Places" : love is so strong, that it changed Finch's epitaph from "Theodore Finch, in search of the Great Manifesto" to "Theodore Finch, the boy Violet Markey loved".
I have the feeling that sometimes we come to a point we dont feel anymore. I have been there, and there was a person reminding me life has more to give and it´s okay to feel and everything, just because I was touched emotionally by this person. Somehow this always reminds me of that in a deepness
