- Suede's Brett Anderson discusses his new album, describing it as a departure from the "arrogance of youth".
With hits such as the Beautiful Ones, Suede were one of the biggest bands of the 90s and a key player in the Britpop movement.
Founding member Bernard Butler has moved on but the band continue to tour and have just released the new album Autofiction.

Brett smiling is pure gold
Oh he has always been the most sexy , beautiful and charming man . ( especially when he was young ) 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Not the biggest Suede fan but I *do* recall hearing ‘Trash’ for the first time and getting shivers when it hit the chorus.
Massively under rated band suede are awesome live and have produced some legendary anthems that really rock!well done Brett and the band keep going guys🤘🤘👏👏👊
Underrated, because they are irrelevant!
@@beebsarelli good band lad
@@beebsarelli People are still listening.
Lovely Brett so down to earth ❤️
I really liked Suede the first time around, they made some brilliant songs..glad too see them back..and to see Brett smiling..now there's a first😀
Top band pure class, better with age ❤️
no, not better ))
@@tatsianapalchekh5326 he's fitter with age
Brett is ART
I love suede ❤
Dogmanstar is one the best albums ever produced, nothing else suede has done has come close in my opinion and they definitely miss bernard butler. Autofiction is one the better suede albums though definitely worth a buy.
Richard Oaks is not so bad ! But....indeed where is Bernard Butler's astonishing career ?
He's a really good guy. And a great band.
I'm loving the new record. They've not only recaptured the raw energy of the early days, but perfected it. Distinctively Suede but definitely a step back from sophistication as he says.
Brett is new David Bowie :)!
Morrissey once said he will never be Angie Bowie! Or something along those lines…
Polite even though she cut him off. If that was someone like Adele she would throw a strop.
I couldn't afford their live ticket, it cost a fortune. I thought it was unnecessarily mercenary, personally.
Best British band? Yup
Just popped out the rabbit hole and wound up here..happy dayz!
Great band❤
I like suede always have
Brett Anderson smiling is a rarity.
Yes ..this is midle age mood
Filmstar was badass
Please come to Las Vegas

Hello Brett!!!❤❤❤
🎵Suede just Resurrected like Jesus Christ
🤤
Not AT ALL... .THE DEEP STATE IS JUDAS HOWEVER...AS IS SKY NEWS
Class comment 👏👏
@@DayDay1991 😘
@@DayDay1991 ☺️ thanks
Fragile is how they might be feeling but don't class all middle age people the same, because I'm loving life even though the countries screwed.
Screwed ! I'm french and it is painful to see what is doing your horrendous conservative party and your crazy jester Boris !
I must admit most of the 90s bands still when making new tunes it becomes too much brain, but this is a great rock album compared to the really bad music we have gotten the last 20 years.
영국발음 좋다
Why did they have to cut him off like that? Disrespectful.
Does anyone else want to just MARRY HIM AND THEN EAT HIM FOR LUNCH?!
뭐라는지하나도모르겠는데재밌음
who else thought the thumbnail was a certain someone with a mustache
Today’s bad news story.
Have we crossed the point of no return in terms of damaging the planet? There is no such point. We need to trust that our thought, which is our greatest quality, can change nature. We only need to understand the direction to which we should aim our thoughts. What should we think about? What condition or state should we aspire to and ask for?
In order to save our planet, we should think about positive human connections. That is, how can we, in our connections, keep nature safe? How can we all together protect our world? If we truly wish to better our planet, then we should see people holding a concern for how to positively connect everywhere that we look.
It has nothing to do with recycling or other activities that we commonly associate with as being sustainable. If we come closer to and consider each other, that we will reach an entirely organic, perfectly connected and round state, then the negative forces will disappear from the world.
We need to understand that if we start thinking better about each other, then the planet will recover from all harm, because our thoughts are the strongest force in nature. Likewise, our negative thoughts about each other are entirely to blame for damaging the planet. That is why the more we recycle and invest in energies and activities that we commonly think of as being sustainable, the worse our planet becomes. Nothing will work to benefit us until we reach a state where our attitude changes toward each other for the better to protect and improve our planet.
O
First few albums were great. Luckily for Brett he still has female fans 🤣
I just attended a concert in Hollywood last week and there were more men than women there!
All suede albums after their Réunion are great
Wussifying the wussified!
Jealous much?
Obviously!
What now? These silly influencers are trying to convince people in the PRIME of their lives that they are now FRAGILE? Oh, wait...we are talking Millenials aren't we! My bad!
Fragility!! What a soft git
Low testosterone maybe
Absolutely hyped to death this lot were. They were rubbish.
Trash! 😉
@@deanosaur808 That's a better word for them. 👍👍👍👍👍
No they weren't. I saw them twice in concert, the first time when Bernard Butler was still in the band, and they were brilliant. And their first album was a breath of fresh air. Even David Bowie liked them.
