this was amazing!
Hi UA-cam shorts guy
RoyalPear I’m coming after you. 12.7.23 remember that day.
we need a game where all the important tracks have this big orchestral sound
Well, LA was a start
@@Dirakiaa true
@@extremelybaldcardboard I like this for a movies, not for a video games though (unless its a cutscene).
What it is is that music has 2 very different roles in cinema and in game design, so putting cinema into an actual battle within a videogame wouldn't feel right.
Here are the exact differences that make both super great.
Cinema - Music in movies's goal is to amplify a situation thats unfolding in front of the audience as the audience is the outsider to the situation (What this means in easier words is that the people watching the movie aren't taking part in the plot, just observing)
Cinematic music inherits this trait as it is much more subtle amplifying little nuances in the characters, but not defining the character in question.
Due to this if you look at many cinematic scenes the music is careful not to get too complex at any one point or too fluent. Mostly due to this goal of it not defining something, but amplifying something.
Video games - Music in games has a much more definitive role as its own thing.
Since the person playing the game is actively interfacing with the world of the game the music has to approach it as the player exists within the videogame world like an insider. (in simpler words it has to help define what the world the player is interfacing with is like including obeying if the player knows something or if they do not know something)
Due to this the music becomes the sole item that tells the player what emotion they should be feeling in the world or what environment they should feel like they are exploring.
Exploring a forest in a videogame is great, but it won't feel like you are inside that world unless you listen to music provided to sell that point.
Within videogame battle music its important that the songs flow well because the player needs to think in real time to decide what their next move is. If the song is going in and out too much it can be disruptive in battles.
Both Cinema and Video Game music are great and I do love the music in this video as it is a fantastic cinematic musical piece.
@@mtgstudios1556 yeah i get what you’re saying. i was referring more to the instrumentation and sound more than the exact music
@@extremelybaldcardboard thats definitely doable.
That idea reminds me of the Xenoblade Series, Ark series (this one is less known), and some others.
If you haven't seen Ark I think thats the closest I know of. It was composed by Gareth Coker. Same composer who did Minecraft Battle Mode and the Ori franchise.
Undertale also has some good ones, but those are more like listening to it through a radio device, so probably not the one you are looking for.
HOW DO YOU ONLY HAVE 10K SUBS? It's downright disrespectful 😭
Damn. Your journey in mastering this art is impressive.
Wow I love this! Definitely one of your more ambitious arrangements, and you nailed the cinematic feeling. Amazing job!
Thanks a ton!
In some parts of this arrangement, I can easily imagine a chasing scene by one of these gigantic monsters of time and space, and in some other parts their menacing presence while you confront them
Great track right here! I love it a lot!
Sounds like elder ring boss music mix with it nice one
Diamond tier arrangement
I dare say this arrangement is brilliant even 🧐
Dude the vocals in the beginning remind me so much of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, I makes me think that something bad like Pride is about to attack or something. Its so eerie and I love that
Mixing and mastering is really amazing....
This is fantastic! I always found Dialga and Palkia's theme to be overlooked in comparison to that of other legdengaries and too muted for the literal Gods of time and space. You added some much needed power and gravitas to this one, excellent!
Wow! This pairs great with your Battle! Giratina from a year ago! great work
Great work! Ton of bite in the arranging and mix, really satisfying 😈
Thanks a ton!
I love how grand this sounds!
It makes me really happy you still use waffles starley in your vids. Also this gave me goosebumps. So good.
Waffles starley?
I believe Pokestir drew that himself though?
@@CineArkonope. That’s a different starly haha.
I love this so much.
best rendition so far
This sounds badass as hell, didn't expect to see this now, good job!
Also, I'm wondering, gonna try this format again in the future?
cinematic arrangements or the new thumbnail style?
@@Pokestir the cinematic stuff!
@@lethal6973 of course yeah!
@@Pokestir nice!
Will it be strictly related to legendary themes? Or will you explore other themes too?
This is the Theme that should've been in The Rise Of Darkrai and Giratina And The Sky Warrior Movies as well as The Team Galactic Endgame Arc and BDSP Arc with their New Forms. Enough Said. 👍👍💯🎶🎵🔊🎼
Jesus Christ this is fucking unreal
