Gabriela Garza Lozano, subdirectora de la primaria Reilly de Austin ISD, nos brinda esta hermosa pieza de piano, "Mía", de Armando Manzanero, (arreglo para piano por Rodríguez Cerdán/Garza Lozano). Agrega estas notas:
Armando Manzanero, El Maestro de los boleros, (7 de diciembre de 1935 - 28 de diciembre de 2020) fue un cantante, compositor y pianista mexicano. Nació en Mérida, Yucatán. Sus sencillos más conocidos fueron: "Mía" y "Adoro". Fue el mayor exponente de las canciones románticas bolero mexicanas. Armando Manzanero fue influenciado por el rico patrimonio cultural de su natal Yucatán y la música romántica bolero que era popular en América Latina en ese momento. Compuso más de 400 canciones que evocaban el romance eterno, sublime, divino y profundo. Su sensibilidad trasciende tiempos, fronteras y corazones. Sus boleros atemporales han tocado corazones a través de generaciones y continentes. Su habilidad para componer canciones de amor conmovedoras y melodiosas resonó profundamente en el público, lo que le valió un amplio reconocimiento.

Armando Manzanero, El Maestro de los boleros, (7 December 1935 - 28 December 2020) was a Mexican singer-songwriter, composer and pianist. He was born in Mérida, Yucatán. His best known singles were: "Mía" and "Adoro". He was the greatest exponent of the Mexican romantic bolero songs.
Armando Manzanero was influenced by the rich cultural heritage of his native Yucatán and the romantic bolero music that was popular in Latin America during that time. He composed more than 400 songs that evoked eternal, sublime, divine and deep romance. His sensitivity transcends times, borders and hearts. His timeless boleros have touched hearts across generations and continents. His ability to craft poignant and melodious love songs resonated deeply with audiences, earning him widespread acclaim.
