@@karlopusec9281 that will b not the next video, but the one after the next one👍
yeah me too in my first hearing this song kinda love this song
"Tonight the World Dies" and "Natural Born Killer" are seriously underrated songs in my opinion.
@zacharyallen1878 both will be reacted to soon👍
Absolutely vote for Tonight The World Dies!!
Matt has stated that the song isn't _actually_ about God hating us. The song is instead, sadly, a common stance on God. When something isn't going our way, or something bad happens to us in our lives, people will often blame God, thinking that God is against them. And, no doubt, Matt (the sole and only songwriter of this song) was feeling that way, because he had just lost his closest friend.
This is evident by the chorus: "God, save us! God, save us all!" as a plead, a wish. Then as time goes by, and that prayer isn't answered, it instead turns into "God hates us! God hates us all!"
My interpretation behind the calm beginning and ending is: Garden of Eden, peace, and harmony > Sin, the great flood > After the flood when everything is calm again.
I would recommend reacting to the Rock Am Ring 2011 performance of this song, which, I'm still kinda upset isn't an official release on Spotify and other streaming platforms, because it's just that good.
("Oh my God" counter: -13- 17)
("Jesus" counter: 2)
@passingaway ah very interesting and that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the info. More and more ppl r requesting this song live so i will have to do it soon. And the correct oh my god count was 17😂😂
To me, this song is the story of life; The soft intro is the baby in the womb slowly growing, then he is born into a chaotic living nightmare where god hates everyone, and in the end his life is over and the person can be peaceful again.
This song is pure rage and anger about how fucked the world is, how things are unfair, there is only pain, and the only explanation may be that god hates us, because nothing else makes sense.
This was released in 2016, and since 2016 there has been nothing but a downward spiral in the world. I’m from war-torn Israel, so trust me when I say that. People here are suffering well-beyond what this song can describe
A7X were scheduled to perform a show here in Israel in 2022, but they cancelled all the shows that year because the Album (Life Is But A Dream) wasn’t ready yet. It came out in June 2023, and we did not get another show scheduled. Then October 7th 2023 happened, and obviously they wouldn’t perform a show after that.
Hopefully everything ends soon and they can come back here. They were here in 2018 but I missed them because I didn’t know of the band back then.
*edit it came out in 2010 obviously with the rest of nightmare. I got it confused with the stage that came out in 2016
@PoliAstroN ya that about sums up what i was thinking the song was about. The world we live in is a crazy Place and they did an incredible job of portraying that through music in this song
this was released with the nightmare album in 2010, but yeah the world is still going downhill lmao
@@Iamthesun314 Right I forgot it’s from Nightmare, I don’t know why I thought it’s from The Stage 😭
This along with the rest of the Nightmare album was being written with the Rev and after his passing was changed to reflect what they were feeling at the time. This song is basically what the title says, they felt like God hated them for taking their brother away the way he did.
(Natural Born Killer is also an absolutely insane song by them)
@102ndsmirnov7 ya that makes sense. Where r u guys getting this info? I wanna watch some interviews and videos of them talking about their songs and the meaning behind them lol. I've watched all their breakdown videos. I love those
@@SwearoReacts Those breakdown videos are great, they also have the "TRAX podcast" which I have watched a few episodes of where they also do breakdowns and talk about the songs they've made.
One I liked in particular was Episode 17 on Save Me, lots of interesting stuff in it.
There's also just been random interviews over the years with the members of the band giving us insight on the meanings behind songs and stuff.
@102ndsmirnov7 ah cool. I'll have to check some more out lol
It’s about the stage of grief anger, the original album order was
1. Nightmare
2. Welcome to the Family
3. Buried Alive
4. Victim
5. God Hates Us
6. So Far Away
7. Danger Line
8. Save Me
9. Tonight the World Dies
10. 4:00 AM
11. Lost It All
12. Natural Born Killer
13. Fiction
God Hates Us fits in after Victim and shows the anger stage of grief. A lot of the nightmare album goes through all five stages of grief. Nightmare became my favorite A7X album after I experienced loss and related to it
A7X - Victim foREVer
I have counted 14 :D This song was made after Rev passed away and there were made several songs to tribute to Rev. As far as i know the theme of the song is blaming the god for the things that happened. Like more bad more rebelloues song to Rev.
@yusufkaancoskun718 ya that's kinda what I understood from it as well
The meaning of the end is to calm down what you can’t control bubba
Natural born killer a7x ❤
If possible idk if I have to pay but Angels, it’s gonna show you their range.
@@Hrshy_ no payment needed here as of rn😂

@@WahyuJulianto-t6s will do👍
If you interested into more creatif song by them, i sugest you to react to the song Exist
Pretty sure they wrote this when the rev died. Could be wrong tho
he did die around this time. (during the nightmare album) but now that you say that, it would make sense that they would say that "god hates us/them" as a way of saying "why would he let this happen to us" or something along those lines🤷♂
@@SwearoReacts yea that’s what I heard the reason for the song was
