- This video is not like an ordinary vlog. It is a breakdown of my first full year (2023) as a UA-cam Vlogger.
Not only am I doing this for my memory of where I've been, but I'm also giving you (the viewers) a transparent example of what the backside of content creation looks like.
I will cover:
- the birth of my channel,
- all the countries/cities I visited during 2023,
- travel costs in 2023 (flights/hotels/food/transportation/excursions),
- views, subscribers, audience background, money, growth, etc...
- what I've learned as a creator,
- best & worst travel experiences,
- montage of each country I visited.
All the information in this video is solely based on my experiences traveling and research.

i'd say bald and brankupt is the "expert" in solo travelling
Hahaha he is a different breed...and used to focus mostly on travel to post-soviet countries where he could communicate in Russian. I enjoy his content as well but if you watch closely, when he travels to new places, solo traveling is much more difficult for him...and on top of that hes been traveling since the 90s haha
Biggest question, can you really live on olny 6000 subs?
Absolutely not i'd say. Only way is if you are having sponsorships on every video. I'd say, you need to make upwards of a few hundred thousand views per month to make a alright living
Most of your viewers are in reality Filipinos. If you combined the Philippines & US. Most of your viewers in the US are Fil-AMs. I don't think Malaysian-Americans since there are only few immigrants from Malaysia. Hence, if can come back to the Philippines & create good contents that will capture the Filipinos worldwide, then it will blow your subscribers & viewerships. Please note that there about 14 Million Filipinos worldwide that loves to watch vlogs about the Philippines.
