This video made me cry my eyes out. I’ve watched you since you were YOUNG when the page was just for you making cloth pads and selling them, now look at you Bri! You’re a mom, and an AMAZING one at that! God I’m so proud of you m8 ❤️
Thank you for sharing some of Oryn's precious newborn days with us, he's grown so much since then, but even at four weeks he was very alert and strong! Lovely to see your Mum too. Love and hugs to you all x
You are going to be an amazing mom !!! I raised two sons as a single mom and they are now 15 and 24 years old. They are both amazing , smart and successful in their endeavors and it’s been the greatest joy of my life being their mother. Best wishes 💐
There was something about when you were getting Oryn ready on the bed and then that subtly proud smirk on your lovely mum's face as she walked in and saw you putting him down ♥️ Such simple but special moments caught on camera of these early newborn days and I can tell your mum (and I'm sure your dad) is just so proud to see her own baby smash parenthood. I'm very close with my mum so to see your mum's reaction made me tear up. Always wonderful to have a village to help in those earlier days too. Motherhood really suits you Bryony ♥️
Oh my gosh! I haven't watched you in years but your story about wanting to be a solo parent has stuck with me for YEARS, as I've considered taking that path. I really related with your stories about always wanting a child, even from a young age, and doing tons of work with other kids to prepare for that! I'm SO SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe you did it!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! CONGRATS!!
I love that your Mum just got you the tyres without telling you. No way she’s going to have her baby and grand baby driving about in anything but the safest car. Such beautiful love!
You're so lucky to have your parents to help a bit! I'm also a single mom by choice and I never had any help... Nights have been the hardest, doing it alone. He's almost 11 months now and I just want a decent night sleep 😂
He’s adorable. I’d love a comparison vid when you’re back at your own place - how to get those moments to yourself, organise, Bath etc with baby in tow!
this is crazy, i’ve watched you for years and you helped start me on menstrual cups!!! now we are BOTH moms! well, i’m a mom to be come january. so sweet. so wonderful to see!!! congratulations darling🥰
What a beaitiful son you have. Having á child is a blessing but also a challenge. You seem to be handling it with strangt and patience. Good luck and blessings.
Oryn is adorable. Sometimes if you have a fast let down baby will unlatch a lot. ( had same issue with my little man) What you can do is express your first let down then latch him. Breast pads didn't really work for me especially in the beginning. We had to use collection cups. It saved tops while collecting milk to put in freezer.
Hi bonnie, I've watched you for many years right back to when you were making the pads. You've come so very far and you're an amazing mum. Your parents must be so very proud of you. Keep going! You're doing an amazing job with little one! Xx
your such a beautifull mummy. well done, Oryn is very very cute. I cant wait to be a grandma, hopefully soon, and ill be deffinatley be taking a leaf from your mums "grandma book" shes amazing.
You are just glowing as a mother. I was worried about you seeing how much you struggled during your pregnancy but my goodness you have a grace about you now. I'm so happy to see you enjoy life with baby Orin ❤
Beautiful baby! Disappointing to see you using a 'cushion' pod to put him down for naps. Babies should only put down in their crib/cot on a firm mattress so risk of Sudden Infant Death is minimised. Everyone do follow The Lullaby Trust for safe sleeping. Our baby died to Sudden Unexplained Infant Death. The pain of losing your baby stays with you forever.
this is so wonderful to watch thank you for sharing! I'm starting my SMBC journey this fall with a goal of getting pregnant late next year early '25 (if all goes well) and videos like these help so much
My bubbies are now 4 and 8 and even though theyre still so young this just brought me right back to my newborn days with them🥺 I absolutely adored this video and lovely to see how amazing ur parants are thats great; Hope your doing well x
I'm a SMBC. I'm so happy that you had your parents. That's priceless. I only had my sister. She has an infant child and a toddler so she couldn't help as much,. I'm disappointed in my parents. I thought they were great parents but when i got pregnant they were judgemental and don't really subscribe to SMBC. They visited for 2 days when my daughter was 2 months old. It makes me sad when I see others getting support from their parents. I thought my parents would be happy for me and be supportive but.😢😢😢😢
Try getting a 90 minute nap when you can, no more, no less (setting a 90 minute timer on my phone works for me). I can't remember the science behind it but it really does work, you'll wake up feeling refreshed.
So glad to see you doing well in motherhood. I am single mother by choice too and it’s nice to see others too. I was wondering if you’ve used a Hakkaa while breastfeeding on the other side to catch the let down, I know I got so much extra as an over supplier too.
AWWWW I miss the newborn stage. My youngest is turning 8 later this month and watching this brings back memories of myself and my son. Thank you for sharing.
OK so maybe this is the trauma of not having a great mum but the moment when you are sorting baby and your mum walks in with your water and just looks at you. So proud 😭❤
Awwwwe!! You're such a good mama!! My little just turned two a couple weeks ago and this video has me missing those tiny baby, newborn days. The baby fever is STRONG.
For supply issues, make sure you’re drinking lots of water. Everytime you sit down to nurse, drink a whole cup of water. Also try not to offer the bottle. The more you nurse, the more he will tell your body to make milk. Especially during a growth spurt, you’ll think he’s not getting enough because he wants to eat so often and you feel empty, but he is signaling your body to increase your supply. Hang in there!
The boobie’s coming! ❤❤ So sweet. So happy for you. Precious baby boy, and those baby noises! I have 3 boys and one girl. I nursed my daughter until she decided to wean herself (which ended up being after 3 years) and I’ll never forget when she was almost 2, we were in church and she started shouting boob and hitting my chest lol. It made me think of that when you told Oryn boobies coming .
You're doing so well 🎉🎉🎉 One tip I heard was to get the swaddle on before feeding so there's not such a big change when putting baby down. We held ours until 5 months anyway 😅
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hates showers 😂 Very much a bath person, I usually wash my hair over the side of the bath with the shower hose, I just hate the feeling of the water hitting me! I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't think I'm weird!
Could you please make a video about symptoms and how you feel (physically and emotionally) in the week or two after he was born? I am curious if all the bad pregnancy symptoms go straight away, or if it takes a while to feel better?
Congratulations lovely! ♥️ Please read into car seat safety, baby shouldn’t wear a pram suit in the car seat (if travelling) as it will create a lot of space if in a collision this could be extremely dangerous. Also if he hates his car seat you may find a more upright seat he may prefer such as the Avionaut sky or Axkid One+, these are the bets on the market xx
This is a really beautiful video , and very informative. You have a natural way about you which makes people want to keep watching, but if you don't mind me saying you are supposed to support the babies head/neck with your hand which i don't see you doing. This is vital until they are about 4 months old.
Aw he is so beautiful and your amazing well done My lil munchkin is turning one in two weeks and its gone by so quickly, the breastfeeding is just so lovely now although it was difficult for the first few months😅 enjoy that new born smell and all the cuddles
Really enjoying your videos 😊 you seem such a lovely genuine and appreciative person 😍 Oryn is beautiful 😍 I thought it would spelt Orin but I like it with a Y it’s really cool!
So glad you’re doing well! I had to use disposable breast pads because I had such a heavy letdown. Otherwise it was just constant leaking. Frustrating!!
Congratulations:) it’s reminding me of when my 2 year old was little ha, I had a lot of let down when feeding so I would pop in a Elvie catch cup so I could save it for later. If not I think boots did reusable bamboo pads. X
The same thing happens to me over and over again: "I'll just wait until my baby wakes up for the next feed." [More than a few hours later] "Well, I might as well go to bed now."😄😅
This video made me cry my eyes out. I’ve watched you since you were YOUNG when the page was just for you making cloth pads and selling them, now look at you Bri! You’re a mom, and an AMAZING one at that! God I’m so proud of you m8 ❤️
Me too🥲🤣

Motherhood is so beautiful on you. Watching you rock him so gently and gaze at him so lovingly while putting him to bed really made me tear up a bit.
Thank you for sharing some of Oryn's precious newborn days with us, he's grown so much since then, but even at four weeks he was very alert and strong! Lovely to see your Mum too. Love and hugs to you all x

I saw that too! I actually went back and re-watched it because it was so sweet
@@Sarahr98998 I did the same!!! 🥹🥹🥹 How funny that we both did! It was the sweetest moment - really warmed my heart

Oryn is such a beautiful baby. He really does look like his Mummy xxx
I'm normally more of a silent watcher, but just had to say what a brilliant mummy you are to Oryn and how lucky he is to have you!
I hope this channel never ends and keeps spreading happiness.❤😊
Whoever is reading this comment, I wish you success, health, love and happiness
Thank you!! Same to you!

I’m glad he’s doing so well and gives you stretches of sleep! I remember the zombie newborn stages was horrible! He’s so cute ad I love his name!
So sweet! I am glad you feel better and little Bean is so adorable!
Awww great video! It brought back all the memories for me with my newborns. You're doing great, and he is a cutie!
Brie, so relieved to see you and baby so well after such a tough pregnancy!!!
What a blessing your parents are I appreciate the care you are given at this time of healing and learning. Happy motherhood and be blessed 🙏🏽🎉💕

So sorry for your loss ❤
It’s too bad those cushion pod things are so popular these days. So many use them for sleep and it’s not safe. 😢
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I can only imagine how devastating that is.
I was so happy to see this vlog pop up in my notifications! I love a newborn DITL but Ori is extra cute x
So truly happy for you both !!!

What a handsome little fella. 😍💙 I'm so happy for you Bryony! You're going to be an awesome Mom! 🙏🏼
Most relatable newborn days video I've seen!! Xxxx
I love seeing you doing this on your own and loving it, I'm thinking of doing this in the future so watching you is great

Hi Bri, so lovely to see you smiling and thriving on this motherhood journey. Please may you link the car seat?? 🥰

Congrats
I just had my first baby also a boy I keep a small whiteboard next to my pillow to keep track of his feeding
Enjoy this time it goes by fast
He is ridiculously gorgeous ❤

What stroller are you using? It folds up so small!
Any recommendations on a compact double stroller?
He looks so much like you!! What a cutie 🥰
You are absolutely amazing, and such an inspiration!
He looks exactly like you!!

You two both have such cool names!
So cute! I know you're back at your flat but have you thought of a nappy caddy? Kmart Au & NZ has them. I don't know where else to find them.
Your baby is so lovely
This was such a wonderful surprise!! Absolutely lovely to see you and Oryn in the first few weeks! 🤍🫶🏻
Can you say something about your previous depression, if it simply went away after the birth, or if you had to take medications post-partum?
Blessings and congratulations ❤
So long as 5+ wet nappies in a 24hr is a good indication of a good milk supply. What goes in must come out. Anything less than that is worrisome
Really enjoying your videos 😊 you seem such a lovely genuine and appreciative person 😍 Oryn is beautiful 😍 I thought it would spelt Orin but I like it with a Y it’s really cool!
I loved the clips of you and your mum ☺️
Congratulations he's gergous really enjoyed watching this 🎉😊
So glad you’re doing well! I had to use disposable breast pads because I had such a heavy letdown. Otherwise it was just constant leaking. Frustrating!!

What pushchair were you using in this video? It looks so compact
Also interested in this pushchair/stroller 🙋🏻♀️
The same thing happens to me over and over again: "I'll just wait until my baby wakes up for the next feed." [More than a few hours later] "Well, I might as well go to bed now."😄😅
Beautiful video x
Thanks
What a lovely video xx
Mummy needs to eat or else she won't have any milkies for you is said almost daily in my house as well 😂
I loved this vlog
9:37 I've never seen a car seat like that!
I am 38 with two kids and lots of nieces and nephews and me either🤷♀️
What is the app you're using to track feeding?
I think she said it's Huckleberry. 😊
Hi, sorry for the mistake in the previous message. I'm completely blind and have been dictating it for speed. I'm really sorry x
Such a sweet baby😍❤️🥰❤️
