I have Bible study on Monday nights so I listen on You Tube after the live broadcast. What a blessing! I’m grateful for the great hymns of our faith! I’m grateful to worship in a church where these great songs are celebrated and kept alive!

Oh for a Thousand Tongues is one of my favorite songs. My Mama sang that one too. She sang so many older songs. I've got all of them. Sheet Music I'm talking about. Later on she used the tapes. My Mama could belt out some Christian songs. I loved hearing her sing. I managed to get a tape of her singing before she went home to the Lord. Love this program. I hope to catch it live soon. I love the old Southern Gospel Hymns. The 2 songs y'all sang in the beginning I hadn't heard since I was a little kid. The 60 year olds back in the days before Botox and face-lifts looked so bad because they worked HARD, MANUAL LABOR jobs that computers and robots nowadays. So they literally worked their bodies to death. My grandparents on both sides worked hard jobs. My mother's mother had 16 kids AND held down a full time job! People don't know how to work like that. I hear people complain about how hard they work sitting at a desk all day. They have no concept of what hard work for little pay is! Sorry, I get upset when people complain nowadays when my entire family worked for literally 25 dollars A MONTH! My Daddy's first job he got paid 10 cents an hour. Imagine working 40 hours for $4.00! THAT was hard! Now, my Daddy was born in 1945. He wasn't born back during the depression. He is in his mid 70's now and STILL has to work! Anyways, I just popped on here to chat. 💜
