I have loved your Hygge series and have tried to incorporate more of it this month. I am so thankful for your willingness to podcast in English. To get to know you and your knitting, countryside, etc. has been wonderful! Thank you! ~tiggrgirl

I totally agree with what Vanessa says below. These are wonderful little forays into "hygge." And about cinnamon rolls.... I used to make a Finnish variety, with cardamom and cinnamon many years ago. It is time to find my recipe, fondly remember Anitra who taught me how to make them, and get busy. Thank you so much, Ina, for this lovely series.

Thank you Ina! You are very gracious to speak English for all of us who do not speak Norwegian. I think you speak beautifully. Yes, so challenging to cook these days sometimes. Everything you make looks delicious!

Ina, as a French Canadian, I know exactly what you mean about not being as comfortable in English as in your mother tongue. And I want to thank you so much for doing your vlog in English. You share your culture as well as your passion for knitting, and I am sincerely grateful for that. And by the way, here in Montréal, Québec, the sun sets at 16h30, and it is -16 celcius today. The perfect situation for hygge! I love your vlog. Félicitations!

Thank You so much for doing your podcast in English. We are greatful. Your English speaking is just right, you give us a chance to experience your lifestyle and living in your country. I love it. I’ve come to understand that it’s hard to beat other women in other countries at their knitting. While not a competition I find you all to be so wonderful at your craft. Thanks for opening your door to your life, country, talents, and the world in which you live. These sort of blogs is like taking a few minutes with knitting friends around the world. We can learn from each other. So your English speaking so I may join you in a knit and a cup of Joe is fantastic, and you are good at it. I love your world and the scenery. Thank You again

Thank you for your beautiful podcasts. You have a lovely accent and you sound very comfortable with the language. I have no problem understanding you at all, so you can be assured that you have a great grasp of the language. Knowing how difficult it is for you makes me appreciate them all the more!!

Viewed while sitting near the electric fireplace knitting a purple sock with late afternoon gray sky peaking though the brown oak leaves quaking in the wind. Tusan tak for the Norwegian break. Been so long since I wrote in anything but English but do understand . Kammebornia cast speaks in Swedish with English subtitles which is so much work but brings joy to me.

    Hello Ina,
Your English is fantastic!!! Thusand takk, that's as far as my Norwegian goes. I love Norway and wish I could speak Norwegian as you do English. I am sure I am not alone in being thankful that you are bringing us beautiful knits from beautiful Norway and podcasting in English. Thank you always for the time you put into your podcast and in the Hygge vlogs.

I hope you continue to make these podcasts and vlogs because it is great to see a little of how other people in the world live their lives and the countryside is so very different to here in Western Australia. It is so lovely to visit Norway, albeit via your lovely podcasts. Add to this, I find you inspirational with your knitting projects and I have added many patterns to my files because of what you have been knitting. Thankyou Ina.

Dear Ina, I think we are all jealous of how well you speak English because most of us are not bi-lingual. Your hygge podcasts have been so relaxing and soothing -- perfect for this time of year. With Thanksgiving over, the mad rush of Christmas is upon us and, once the house is fully decorated, I am determined to sit back, knit and enjoy the holidays. I think we start decorating much earlier in the US than you do in Norway.

ina, you have a better command of the english language than most americans. i understand the struggle though, as i've tried to speak another language, and everything seems to come out wrong. your last hygge video on your friends’ trip to your cabin really showed how beautiful you've made your homes. i wish there were an easy way to create videos, but i can't begin to tell you how much i enjoy the results :). have a happy 17 may!

You seem a bit confused about your daughter being a vegetarian... don't be, just watch on you tube "Bosh", "Pick up limes", "Hot for food", "The happy pear".
