What Record are YOU Spinning Today? 🎵
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, recently got it. I got mind blown listening to it the first time. I wasn't ready for interstellar overdrive🔥🤯
Brian Wilson - Brian Wilson
Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas Alive
OK Orchestra - AJR
Got it a couple days ago, but haven’t listened to it yet, so I’m gonna put it on while I get some homework done.
Bloodborne OST
I just bought a bundle that includes the RT85, the PA10 preamp and the Ai81 speakers. I used to have a much higher end system, but this bundle absolutely fits my current needs.
Thank you for the review video! That led me to the Ai61 Powered Speakers and which arrived at my house today. I'm very pleased and even surprised with the sound even with them having no gone through the break in period. My preferred speaker brand has been Paradigm for a while but this was exactly what I needed for my minimalist music setup with a turntable, and they are Canadian on top of that! Big thanks to you! First record I listened to was Charles Bradley's No Time for Dreaming!
I love your music choice 👍🏼
Serán mejores que the fives o s2000 mk3 saludos
I have a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze speakers. Previously, I had a pair of Wharfedale Denton XP2s. I loved their sound. I wouldn't go for active speakers as I also play CDs and have a dedicated amp.
We have had these speakers for a few years and love them so much for your vinyl setup, especially for the price range they are high performing
In Australia, I use Edifier bookshelf speakers. They manufacture both active and passive speakers respectively. I currently use the Edifier P17 Passive Speakers, since I recently added an amplifier to my setup. I had bought the Edifier R1000T4 Active Speakers originally, but to improve my setup, I switched to the passive speakers. It works great, sounds great, and it doesn’t blow the budget. The speakers range in price between $80 - $120 AUD.
Edifiers are pretty much the go-to when it comes to budget/quality equilibrium
@@ArkhamJackscuál sería mejor opción,fluance a i61 o los edifier s 2000 mk3? Gracias
At the 0:51 mark point, that has got to be THE BEST UNBOXING!!!!!!! EVER!!!!!!!
I would totally love to do something similar to that, but wouldn't dream of outright copying it! At least maybe the gears in my brain will have a chance to do some turning... maybe come up with something more creative than cutting + ripping tape from cardboard... lol
😊❤👍
I have recently upgraded to a "fluance RT-84" , and I love it! Fantastic sound at a great price! I'm sure the speakers are just as good!😁👍💯
the speakers I have are from about 1979 the Marantz HD440 High definition speaker system

Alright I bit the bullet. Bought the Ai61 speakers. Let's see how I like them. Thanks for the information!
Well. Happy with the Ai61?
@@stephendrahos9000 I'm very satisfied with my Ai61. Really good bang for your buck. I've only used them with analog connections and they are some really powerful speakers. It doesn't have a super bass-y sound but I'll add a subwoofer in the future hopefully.
@@MannyMaravilla Thanks for your input. I’m going to buy a pair for our living room so I hope the extra size/watts will fill the room. I’m okay with the subtle bass.
This was a great review.I'm curently playing records on some logitech Z623. Pretty decent speakers but RN I'm on the market looking for passive speakers and a receiver to start building a proper audio setup. Nothing too crazy, I'll most likely go for the SH market and build up to having a deck and CD player as well.
What are the best budget speakers 250 and under
Can these be used without the amplifier in them?
There's really not enough talk about the sound of the speakers to call this a review. maybe more of an overview/unboxing. comparisons with other speakers in the price range would also help a lot.
They’re unbeatable at the price. This also goes for most of what Fluance makes,(meh phono preamps though to be honest) especially their thick acrylic platter on their Reference turntables.
@@Socooomfy I recently bought the Ai61 speakers and they are wildly mediocre, so I had some skepticism for the Ai41. This video failed to provide any meaningful information that I wouldn't be able to find on the spec sheet or instruction manual.
@@jhkrev3 Ironically, I own both, and the 40 sounds better than the 60 - especially for the price range. There are even reviews on UA-cam noting this.
Woo hoo!!! Canadian, just like me!

Any problems with white noise/audible hissing coming from these? I want to buy them but conplaints of this online are making me lean towards the Kanto YU4/YU6
Hey man, great channel. I recently picked up multiple records from one artist. Some are mono, some stereo, and two are labeled as “full dimensional” sound. I looked it up and couldn’t find anything except references to the old quadraphonic records. Ever seen this before?
I only use 3 way speakers ,without a midrange the very high notes get lost in the woofers.

hi im using the fluance signature 2 way book shelf great post have great week
What was that 3rd man record you showed?
That was "A Glorious Dawn" by Carl Sagan. (Produced by Melodysheep) on Gold Vinyl. Very cool record!
I have the same speakers and have it with a turn table from u-turn audio BUT the sound is very low but when I connect my Bluetooth it’s very loud! Anyone have the same problem?
So cool love it great job ,👍
Hi there I am from the UK and unfortunately I can't buy these without paying duty.. do you know any speakers similar that I could buy in the UK? Love your channel thanks Ed
What sort of stands are you using for the speakers? Are they simple foam pads or are they made for the Fluance speakers?
they're just pads you can find on Amazon
Great review brother

@@vinyleyezz You're welcome! :D
When you mention two of my absolute favorite bands, Deftones and Blue Öyster Cult, in the same video; that’s how I know you’re legit.
Well, yeah, you could play music on them. Short clips or music no longer in copyright or youtube's created music via the bluetooth connection but I guess it's just easier to claim you can't.
I have the Ai40’s in my condo hooked up to my Fluance RT 81 turntable and love the entire unit. Fluance is top notch audio equipment at a reasonable price.
I just bought RT82 and these speakers, are they holding up after 2 years still?
@@branscombe_ Oh my gosh, absolutely. Holding up quite well. No regrets whatsoever.
@@davidgena2667 thank you so much for your response, the 82 turntable, preamp and these speakers are on order and should be here tomorrow.
Are you putting them on the same table as your turntable or did you order stands… I wonder if I should’ve went with the 81 speakers but they looked a bit big for my room
@@branscombe_ The speakers are placed on separate stands which I already had…..nothing special. I own the RT 84 and 85 as well. No complaints with any of them.
Fluance makes some very great products. I have their RT85 turntable and their 5.1 surround-sound speakers. For me, Fluance should be watched as an up-and-coming company. Good quality and affordable, too.
DISLAIMER: I don't represent Fluance. I'm just a satisfied customer.
Tbntx. I have the rt83 turntable. I had a lot of issues with it when I first got it. The support is terrible, but now I got the player working great.
Song of the day: wah-wah by George Harrison
Word of caution. The amp in my daughters set died inside 3 months. I'm now on the hook an extra $50 return shipping for these $200 speakers due to being sold a defective product. Just be aware of their policies before buying, it's a known issue with these speakers too. Should have done more research before buying!

What should I put for treble bass settings?
I am using Edifier R1850DB powered speakers. They are roughly the same as yours, but a little smaller and 70 watts total. They have multiple inputs on the back and Bluetooth. The frequency response is about the same. They cost about $229.00 Canadian plus tax. And they do need a subwoofer, but they do sound pretty decent as is. I use them with my TV/computer setup as well as my karaoke.
I’ve have the older version of these that look identical. AI40/41 are incredible for the size/price.
Hi does anyone know how these compare with the Kanto YU 4 speakers?
These have better sound quality. The Fluance ai41 are more comparable to the Kanto YU 6 instead. Cheers
Speakers Fluance => RT85 => PA10 => AI61’s with DB10 subwoofer. For Streaming iPad connect through USB-C port
I need something like this but with NO bluetooth and need to be wired for PC AND stereo - any advice?
Fluance Signature
Hello. I see you're only reviewing Fluance. What do you think about Edifier R1280T. I want to start again with turntable (thinking Fluance or Audio-Technica) some speakers not too expensive and good quality. (used to have a Sony HiFi tower, turntable, amplifier, double tape deck, radio, CD, and speakers, all modules individual for decades, but more than 25 years ago) . Thanks!!
Idk why I always prefer speakers that are both active and have separate amps in them. Like my KRK Rokit 7 G4 monitors. But these look real nice!

Hey Jared. I know you like spooky music, so I wanted to ask you if you've heard of Everywhere At The End Of Time by The Caretaker (the whole 6 hour version). If you're gonna make a video about it, please let warn people not to listen to it if they are going through depression. It makes every listener cry at the last song.
Hello and thank you for the review.
I’m considering these , with subwoofer, for the TV. Do you know if the speakers can be programmed to an Apple TV or Firestick remote? Also, will they turn on with a TV being turned on? Similar to a sound bar turning on with a tv power on. I look forward to trying with vinyl as well.
Thank you
Hey, FRIEND! :) thx for all the useful infos, like always. I am thinking about buying a pair of Marshall Stanmore 2 (or 3) speakers. Maybe I am not the only one who is asking as those speakers are very good, and getting more and more popular. Do you happen to have any experience with those big boys (thru RCA conn)? I think they have a built-in pre-amp, which is i am not sure it will be ok. Thx. Ramon
I just bought these for my son's first vinyl set up. His GF is buying him the Fluance RT-80 for his birthday so I thought I'd get him these instead of having to go Receiver/Speakers. I'll have to break them in first in my office though.. ;)
How would these do for rock/metal music played from CD or Bluetooth, I currently don't do any vinyl and every review video I have seen so far have vinyl, is there a difference?
Every review should begin with the price......................period!
Where do you sites do you recommend for cassette and dvd player units? I’ve been searching online but not really seeing much. Thanks for all your great content.
35 Hz is pretty awesome for a 5.1/4 inch driver
I have a pair of KEF LS50 Mettas and 2 SVS 1000 Pro subwoofers. Song of the day " Sukiyaki" by Kyu Sacamoto.
This is awesome, thank you! I needed a pair of speakers to share between my TV and turntable. Thanks!
My parents are renovating my room and I had to unplug my record player till it’s finished😔
LGR would love these in woodgrain!
What is the difference between the 5” and 6.5” driver size of these speakers?
Does an external pre amp improve sound quality?
