Great comparison! I do feel it's important to point out that the X-Transbots version has a completely different design philosophy than the FansToys version. It's a much older figure that was designed to be a companion to the older MP-21 Bumble. He suddenly makes complete sense when you put them side by side. They both have a realistic car altmode, and in robotmode they are the exact same height, same squat build, same feet style, even the upper legs look exactly the same. So X-Transbots did a great job with what they set out to do. The FansToys version is a great companion for the new MP-45 Bumble, complete with a chibi altmode and cartoon accurate robotmode. So I guess what I'm saying is... I've kept both Bumblebees, I will also keep both Cliffjumpers 😄
Dang TM you did the unboxing, review and versus for Parkour in record time! Much respect cause I’m sure these videos take a lot of time. As usual I think you hit every category exactly as I see it and had great points. Thanks for getting these videos to us before you travel I really appreciate it. Safe travels!
Thanks Wiskey, yeah I was forced to film it all in the last day or two because Im travelling for work and can't film all week. But you guys will still see reviews pretty much every day
Thanks for the great comparison video! Cliffjumper and Bumblebee were modeled after Choro-Q/Penny Racers. The slot in the back of Penny Racers was used to insert a coin so they could do wheelie tricks.
@TMReviews I agree as well especially for a G1 display. When it comes to Bumblebee, I actually prefer the Cyberverse design the best. G1 style face but car bot size and movie/Prime style body. I wish someone who make a MP inspired by that. Also I would like to see Cliffjumper updated like that too.
Thanks TMREVIEWS. That was much closer than I thought it was going to be. Great points and explanation you make in the comparison, I share the same opinion in all areas. I did initially think the Fantoys had a bit of an oversized backpack but you can see they’ve done a great job compacting it down. Car mode whilst being very toon accurate, looks great next to Jazz. Will there be a comparison with MMC Helion?
Thanks for the comparison video Sony. I have the XTB, and the FTs is on order. This is pretty much how I saw the comparison working out. My plan is for FTs to be my bot mode, and XTB to be in alt mode. Have a fantastic day.
Thanks for the great vs. I always look forward to these. I think XTB / MMC offerings pair better with MP-21 and that the FT pairs better paired with MP-45. Since I have MP-45 I will be going with Fans Toys for bot mode and moving my MMC to the alt shelf.
Great review, other than the audio...... 😁 Toro's alt-mode blows Parkour away but I agree it's too small for what they tried to do. Past that Parkour destroys Toro. Would have loved a show down with the updated Hellion. But your review nails it, nice work. 👍
Fair comparrison. I thought FT would sweep it more. Especially with build. But I don't have FT yet so I can't compair and I think back on XTB and , yeah, Toro is a solid little dude and pretty simple to transform. I don't really feel that XTB wins on accessories... just because of volume. You do that a lot :) The accessories need to be meaningful. I hate idea of the chibi car but understand why FT went that way and they did it well. It looks like the vintage mini car toy. On the other hand, I always hated Toro's bot mode even though it was the best one out there... I don't buy XTB anymore (except if the Omnibots come out because no one else will ever make them) and have been replacing all my XTB with just about anything else. So Parkore is likely replacing my Toro once it comes in.
Great comparisons. I went with the Ocular Max Hellion over the XTB. I'll transform Hellion into alt mode and keep FT in robot mode as I don't want to mess with him too much. He looks fragile and I don't want to mess up the paint while transforming him too much.
Nice. I am surprised how close the scoring went. I thought that even without the "members choice" category, Fans Toys would win with a crushing victory. However, I don't actually disagree with any of the score results. For me, though, Parkour is the first Cliffjumper figure worth getting, since I value cartoon accuracy more than anything. Fortunately I have a pre-order secured. I wonder, though, how that seems to have reached several reviewers already, despite that its estimated release date is still "unknown".
I got 5 to go with Jive.. Tracks and Seaspray, Hound and Prime, Phantasm, and vehicle mode..and Toro can go the way of the Dodo.. I'm seeing early access members only..did I get a gift membership 🤣🥳
You're also comparing against a mold that is now fairly old, XTB designed Toro back when the Hybrid era was going on in Masterpiece, it isn't looking for cartoon accuracy, but a combination of toon and realistic. It's somewhat like when you did the FT Tesla 2.0 comparison against a competitor that was several years old, it's hardly fair due to how the line changes and evolves and how engineering develops over time. These comparison videos would serve a better purpose if two companies release the same character within a year of each other.
To each their own but I don't like the anime penny racer look of Parkour or MP-45 Bumblebee. I'll keep Toro and my MP-21 Bee. They're a lot easier to transform as well. Parkour in particular is picky about the transformation process. No penny racers for me. I love having a proper Porsche 924 and Volkswagen beetle for the Alt modes. I will say this. If you own and love your MP-45 Bee you want FT Parkour to go with him. If you prefer the older MP-21 Bee go with XTB Toro.
My apologies for the audio during the articulation section, I have no idea what caused that, but I couldn't fix it
🤣 the way it came in..I thought I did something wrong 🤣
Your metal singing career is taking off
Technology man😪😪😪
Sounds to me like the input volume level was set to max during that segment? Some recording artists do that to make their vocals sound "raw", haha ;)

Such a good VS. Man you don’t miss paying extra just to get it out to us too. Legend 🙌
Thanks Dusty, appreciate that 🙏
The opening scene with them side by side, wow Toro looks ridiculous! Lol glad I sold mine a long time ago.
Lol
Thanks for the great comparison video! Cliffjumper and Bumblebee were modeled after Choro-Q/Penny Racers. The slot in the back of Penny Racers was used to insert a coin so they could do wheelie tricks.
Yeah, I remember that I just think it's silly, but it's accurate so I can't complain lol

Yup ill go with FT as well Great VS. ✨️ 😀
Even though he doesn't have much sculpted detail, the FTs does look a lot better. Can't wait to get him in hand.
Yeah proportions are really good
Thanks TMREVIEWS.

Thanks Lowell, glad you saw it similarly
I wish the Fanstoys robot turned into the X Transbots car. Thanks for the in-depth comparison man! Very comprehensive as always 😁
Thanks

Gotta say the vehicle mode on the xtb looks better, but robot mode fanstoys wins by far

I am not a big Cliffjumper fan but I LOVE the car mode for this one. If I had this I would display it in car mode.
You mean FT or XTB?
@@TMReviews FT.
Yeah it's really neat in car mode
Has anyone else had an issue with one of the windscreen tabs snapping off on the Xtransbots figure?
The FT is not without its issues, but I just think be looks so much cleaner and better proportioned. Definitely going with that one.

Great review! I think you should’ve tied out alt mode since they both hit what they were going for.
I got 5 to go with Jive.. Tracks and Seaspray, Hound and Prime, Phantasm, and vehicle mode..and Toro can go the way of the Dodo.. I'm seeing early access members only..did I get a gift membership 🤣🥳
Lol @dodo, yes you did get gifted a membership during my Cliffjumper premiere, congrats

FansToys should have won that elbow joint articulation. That was like 120° compared to 90° for X-Transbots.
I5m only counting number of joints and not range of motion. That's just my system
@@TMReviews I think it is time to upgrade the system. 😉 Ha ha.
I usually like x-transbots but the fanstoys looks way better the only cool part with x-transbots is the sled thing that's kinda cool
I go for the cartoon accurate
Cliffjumper is a Porsche 924 GT
I am really shocked it was closer than it was
Oh yeah
Robot mode is fan toys but car mode is xtransbot…but overall price and value I’d have to disagree and say xtransbot for overall minus the height only

I prefer Toro purely cause of the car mode. That porsche is beautiful
I rather not have that extra junk from Xtransbots. I rather have the Ft extra heads.
I hear you
Man, Fanstoys makes XTB look chug 🤦♂️
Lol
I don’t need to watch lol Ft wins hands down on everything lol
I knew who the winner was a week ago 😅😅
