Ben Johns is just on another level. His precision and placement is second to none. Really a difference vs someone like Tyson who just slaps at the ball as hard as he can.
Saying Tyson “just slaps at the ball” is disingenuous and disrespectful for the level of skill he’s displaying with his play style 🙄
They could have just said most electrifying athlete in pickleball and avoided the well deserved criticisms 😂

Federico Staksrud, he made every finals this year so far and won 4+ golds as well. I think the main reason he overtook Ben is that he is pretty much a faster version of Ben.

The courts are very small.
Every time Tyson vs. Ben games are the most boring game.. Tyson is not even trying, got that why bother attitude

Either they didn't watch either game, or they think that unless he's sprinting at all times between points he's not even trying.
He moves slow between points.. but he should. It's hot and humid. There's no sense wasting energy and heating up the body between points.
He's definitely trying haha
