Most geniuses are arrogant - I believe they have a right to be. Fake modesty is unbearable when you just know they're a different person when out of the public view. He was one of the great innovators of film, an artist.
Is truth
Much as I love his films, imagine working with him, or knowing him. He's unbearable.
