Deepest condolences from a Cowboys fan in the UK, what a great guy Junior Seau was. I have an old VHS from the NFL Rocks 1992/3 season where he is wandering around San Diego , riding a rollercoaster and a carousel ,and I just thought what a wonderful, funny and warm person this man is. Shocked and saddened by this loss......."SAY OWWWWW!"
my dad met this guy in San Diego at his restuarant, from what ive heard frm my dad is, Junior seau is a very nice guy, my dads dream came true that day.
Rest in Paradise Junior Seau. All of us in Oceanside will miss seeing you sitting on your porch looking out over the ocean and saying hi to people when they walked by. You were a great man and the community will miss you. We'll miss seeing you at Oceanside High School championships.
One of the All Time Greats Right There with LT and Ray Lewis and some of the other Great Linebackers of the Game. Played the game like it should be played all heart, all out each and every play no matter the score. Hall of Fame RIP...
This is so sad he is what made me a Chargers Fan his jersey was the first football jersey I put on I was in elementary school and I loved seeing him play I loved the commercials after the Superbowl of him trying to Sack Steve Young he is Legend for how good he was on and off the field and He forever will be the Hometown Hero. You where the only Patriot I felt bad about when you lost the super bowl to the giants a few years ago you never got your ring. R.I.P. Junior Seau 55.
let's get him in the hall of fame this year...he's one of the best to ever do it. The 90s were like the golden age of NFL football. He was apart of that class
rest in peace, people stop judging because nobody is perfect and none of us are promised to tomorrow so stop acting like youre better than next person when all of us are equal . rest in peace junior
Very sad that at how he passed. I enjoyed to see someone make it with their home team the way he did. Awesome player on the field, and by all accounts, great man off of the field. I hope that any other person that may be feeling the hopelessness and loneliness that drove him to take his own life finds comfort somewhere before they make that decision. You are valued. You are loved. R.I.P. Jr. Seau
@ZeroNadaZilch This guy stayed in community after he made it rich, I lived in Escondido, every weekend I would go to the beach and he would be there exercising with high school kids. This was a man that gave back to his community.
All I know is we lost a great person of our community today. We can all spectulate on the cause of death.. for all we know he coulda been shot. None of us were there, so we dont know. Bottom line HE'S GONE and I for one miss him. He was and STILL is a HERO to me. I was one of the inner city kids back in the 90's that recieved clothes and school supplies from your foundation. It really did help out when my momma was stuggling to raise us on her own. Thank you Junior. I love you.
When their(NFL)playing days are over....life away from the game, the real world is just too much to handle. Tiaina Baul "Junior" Seau, Jr., ( January 19, 1969 - May 2, 2012) was an American football linebacker. A ten-time All-Pro and 12-time Pro Bowl selection, Seau was a member of the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team.
looks like he took care of lots of people but he didn't know how to take care of himself. This is a HUGE lesson for many of us left here on earth if we will just stop and listen and take steps.
If you lived in SoCal, mainly the Carlsbad/O'side, you probably knew one of his cousins. RIP. Seau was a legend of the American Samoan community. Why the hell would he do this?
suicide my freaking arse.weird that this happened the same day the nfl announces suspensions on saints players.there was a bounty put out for Seau.connect the dots, things are never what they seem.so sad.rip Junior.
That's just what I was ascertaining...people want to make every little excuse for this gentleman's actions, yet he had all the wherewithal in the world, to seek help...there are people who have endured far worse than he ever could have, yet as I have said before, they continue to carry on with their lives...this society's obsession with public figures, makes one want to puke...
2 THINGS 1. THE POLICE JUST SAID HE KILLED HIMSELF BUT THERE WAS KNOW CLEAR EVIDENCE .... THEY JUST COULDN'T FIND A PERSON WHO SHOT HIM 2. SOME PEOPLE SOMETIMES ARE IN A BAD PLACE AND THEY HAVE BREAKDOWNS AND THEY END UP KILLING THEMSELVES CUZ OF MENTAL BREAKDOWNS
If he commited suicide then he had demons and pain deeper then anyone can understand. Someone who feels that alone and in that much pain isnt a coward, he simply saw no other way out or no other way to stop whatever deep pain he was going thru.
there are varying degrees of depression. people have died from and people have survived cancer. i wouldnt say people who've died from cancer are weak or "could have helped it"
You will be missed, Junior. We sure loved to watch you play here in SD and you were, and always will be, one of our own. R.I.P. man.
