Toriyama also retconned Buu's origin. In the original manga he was created by Bibidi. Toriyama changed that too. Buu is an ancient being as old as the Universe. Bibidi only found a way to somewhat control him.
Favorite singular line has to be "Listen to me Kakarot, I'M USING HIS FUCKING NAME!" Because that was the first time DBZA Vegeta ever said Krillin and not a midget/bald joke. But the culmination of Vegeta's character and the abridged series as a whole, put into the Final Atonement scene. It's by far the best scene in all of DBZA. Vegeta realizes he messed up, like with Cell, but this time he knows that he can do something about it. He knows if he doesn't, Trunks and Bulma are going to die. He has his resolve, and asks Piccolo if he'll get into heaven, already knowing he'll be sent to hell or reincarnated. Yet this time, in the face of death, Vegeta marches forward. His last attack, befitting of his rivalry with his Best Buddy, he hits Buu as hard as he possibly can. The final Vegeta moment: "Vegeta... Yes" God I love this series.

The thing with Android 18 is that she and 17 were once fully human, but Dr. Gero experimented on them. Android 18 was able to have the ability to have children and everything again because Krillin wished for all the explosives and whatnot to be gone from her body. It's kinda the reason Shenron couldn't wish her to be human again because technically she still was. On the topic of Babidi being a clone, he was. Babidi is a doppelganger of Bibidi, making him his "son" in a sense. Whenever Bibidi needed assistance, he would split into multiple people & split his magical power between them. Babidi was one of the clones, and when Bibidi was killed by Supreme Kai, Babidi remained and inherited all of his original self's power (and probably a good portion of his knowledge too). This explains why Babidi didn't know what Buu looked like before Bibidi sealed Buu away.
Remember, Buu's true form was 'Kid Buu.' He only became 'fat buu' after absorbing the grand supreme Kai. Bibidi may not have seen him after that because he was sealed away shortly following that.
Slight correction here for those saying Krillin's Ex and his daughter have the SAME name (re: They don't): Krillin's ex in the anime was called Marin (Japanese spelling for 'Marine', in reference to her blue hair). And Caroni, the disciple of Mr. Satan totally was if not gay, wiggling his hips during poses.
Kid buu is the original form of buu, who was in fact, very terrifying, and was probably the source of all the stories that bibidi had heard. Fat buu was like this because he absorbed the leader of the supreme kai's. A lot of what bibidi heard came from the current supreme kai, who was mostly suffering PTSD from having his friends and family killed and absorbed, so every part of buu, kid or otherwise was just an over powered nightmare.

Shin wasn't even aware of Babbidi's existence until recently. I always assumed Babbadi was just a baby or something when Buu got sealed. And he had to spend the intervening time learning magic and learning the secret to reviving buu, but he clearly didn't have all the information. I don't think he got any help from Bibbidi.

And Buu is a great force of destruction that can mold his own matter and survive as tiny specs. He can control every single particle of himself. Also, magic. Even though Piccolo just sliced through Babidi's body with one swing of the arm, Babidi's magic shield was strong enough to survive Vegeta's self destruction.
I actually have a theory on Buu surviving. For Cell, it was as long as a single cell exists,he comes back...for Buu, i like to think as long as his Ki remained in the air he could regrow. Also debated if he had his own sage mode essentially since his power never ran low. I now know it was because he had the big Supreme Kais God Ki.
For cell it was if his "core" survived, that was in his head, however they then blew his head off and somehow he regened? Buu i believe is if a single ATOM survives

That wasnt buu's true form, that was the more innocent and gentile form he took on after absorbing Dai-kaio back in the day, and because he was so...silly and carefree bibidi sealed him back up and was killed in the process. so Bobidi had no clue what he was hatching with the buu ball. Kid Buu is the real buu.
about Majin Boo, you need to remember that Fat Boo is not Majin Boo OG form, any text write by Bibidi about Majin Boo will probable describe Kid Boo, any legends about Majin Boo will be about Kid boo, in the past Majin Boo was Fat Boo for a very short time until Bibidi decide he was too hard to control and sealed him, right after the Kaioshin killed Bibidi.

That wasnt buu's true form, that was the more innocent and gentile form he took on after absorbing Dai-kaio back in the day, and because he was so...silly and carefree bibidi sealed him back up and was killed in the process. so Bobidi had no clue what he was hatching with the buu ball.
