Video by Dave's Little Beasties don't forget to subscribe - Be Calm, Be Gentle and Love Your Spider
What a little stud! Thanks for the video, it was interesting! I’m a bit jealous of Mrs. Spider! Haha!😂
Great video! Her abdomen looked like a Kiwi fruit!
That was my first thought too! Lol
What a stud this guy! Hopefully she doesn’t molt out
Hello dave and camera lady. Wow she was a big girl and a very keen male. Was looking forward to this video after you mentioned them last week and it didn't disappoint.
Timestamp, 24:43 - That abdomen looks surprisingly similar to a kiwi fruit
Damn.. Now you got me hungry
Forbidden kiwi! :)
Ok, I will never look at a kiwi fruit the same again 😆
Kiwi officially ruined, that`s hilarious LOL!!
Taking foreplay to a new level, keep it pg my friend, lol, love you Dave and camera lady, can't wait for the next episode!
3:27... Something in the background with at least (what looks like) one huge long Antenne, started to come his direction, and when it got too close, he bolted, I think that's what made him bolt.
\O>
A red runner
Holy damn wow she is huge O.O the way she squeezed back into the burrow was absolutely comical
Incei... wincy?
When a male spider eats his sperm web, does he get any nutrients from it. Does spinning a web burn calories. Love your show
Yes I would think they burn some energy making the web not sure if they get any goodness from it though ?
I know that there are plenty of true spiders (especially orbweavers) who take their webs down by eating them because they move around quite often. that helps give them the energy to rebuild so I imagine the same can be said for other spiders (including tarantulas). 🙂
If you don't name that female Wincey there's something wrong with the world!😂🤣🕷
😂😂😂😂
Brilliant pairing Dave, what a trooper he was and her abdomen looks like a kiwi fruit 😂😂💙x
25:13 oh my goodness, so funny. He actually thought to himself, I'm going to have to help her out here, she's not going to get back down into her burrow and gave her a little push 😂
These are my favorite kinds of tarantula mating interactions, where they both seem just so excited and slap each other over and over.
Awesome vid Dave and Camera Lady, as always. Can't wait to see if that'll be successful! After watching as many pairing vids as I have I do have to wonder how many women split with their blokes after watching vids like these and realising how bloody lazy most blokes are in the bedroom dept if a spider who is half the size of a female who could potentially eat him (and he knows it!) yet he gives a performance like that! They're putting the human species to shame through these vids!!😂 Can't wait until the next one guys x
Don't skip the gym guys. Sometimes you gotta do some heavy lifting.
She was so calm all the way through, especially amazing to see no fuzz in the end. Just calmly returned to her burrow, and let him lock the door after himself. But wow he took off at warp speed in the beginning. Phenomenal size difference, I hope they'll have a family increase soon. Thanks for yet another interesting Spidey video 🕷
Is that possibly a cricket antenna at 3:30 that startled him?
I thought so too. It hit him and I got disoriented as he spun off!
Wow-this is a girl and pairing I won’t forget for some time! Please keep us posted on whether or not she drops a sac! Great video as always Dave 😊😊
Hi and good morning dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady and I wish you both a happy new week! What a difference in size between the female ( she is really very round ) and the little male!
Hello great video information and pairing Dave
Big Berta and Tiny Tom!😄 Well, even THOSE two can make sweet music happen. How wonderous.🥰
More like a 1/4 of her size 😮
I was thinking the same 🤔🤣
Hi Dave, I don't know if specialists like you know that or, better said, if there is any knowledge/experience about it at all: What actually happens with inbreeding? Is there also a risk of malformations? Or have there already been any malformations in spiders? Or could that be a reason why some mothers eat their eggs (just as an idea)?
Its not been documented in the wild state as far as I know but in captivity it has been done and sometimes the young are infertile , but the real question is WHY would anyone crossbreed in the first place ? many pure lines of animals have been ruined over the years by people messing around with stuff that just doesn't need to be 👍
That's some amazing footage. I was terrified she's get tired of him after a while and decide to eat him. My man is a regular Casanova lmao. Hope something good comes from this later. Thanks for the video, as always.
How his legs didn’t snap off I’ll never know, bent so far back.
How does a little spider like him know if the sex was really good? A leg or two falls off! But it was worth it!
Love it, thank you Dave and T😘💓🌻
At 25.15 it looks like he's helping her by give her abdomen a little push back into her burrow 😂 bless so cute!
BBL of the spider world. 😂😂😂
That's one big beautiful w tarantula, and that little male could not get enough of that big girl, so funny he even chased that fanny right to burrow wanting more. Love your videos keep up the hard work.
Oh man that little male is so adorable. I was planning to order 5 N. incei gold slings to keep communally. I have done a communal with M. balfouri and have been hearing that some people have been having success keeping N. incei communally which intrigued me but after hearing your opinion on it I think I'm going to just order a couple, keep them separated and hope for a female. I trust your opinion on this. Your videos are always so educational and entertaining. You have some of the best footage of tarantula parings out there.
Thank you , if your going to try them give them a lot of space 👍
You should name that girl Kiwi, because she literally looked like one, when she got back into the burrow😁.
I turned into a solid goosebump when I saw her come out! Male: jeez Louise lady - ever heard of Weight Watchers?
She was so big she had trouble going back into her den.
Well done little Nugget! My boy did well :D Thank you for taking the time to record his attempt
Our pleasure!❤️❤️❤️
He was a randy little guy! When that big girl crawled out, I immediately thought, “uh-oh…” but he was a champ! 😊👌🏼
He had the best of Times, so it looks. A bit of heavy lifting but never rejected and on it 3 Times before she deciding to shove herself back in with a little encouragement of him still singing.🤣
He's seems very goos doing his Job.
Let's see how many he fathers.👍
Well, some Guys like their Girls BIG.
While watching this I had the song Baby Got Back going through my head 😂😂
That's one big female but another great breeding video the incei is such a cool little spider
6:52...OMG!! He looks like, FOOD for her or sumn! Is that normal? Is she bigger than average or he's smaller than average or? Wow, that's a HUGE difference!
Thats normal size difference
Sexual dimorphism in spiders is very dramatic most of the time.
That male sure got around....." I'm just a gigolo and everywhere I go....." ( can't recall the rest. ) Handsome spiders. A regular Romeo and Juliet with a better ending. 💕💕 Is this a beginner spider ?
Yes nice easy spiders to care for 👍
I just love ❤️ your commentary during these pairing videos. You must have been a sportscaster in a previous life! 😉 Although, I do hope our fabulous Camera Lady has disavowed you of that notion during your more intimate forays.
Sorry, it's nuts where my brain goes sometimes, but it just happens from time to time, 🤣 🤣
😂😂😂😂
How dare you comment on her weight like that. Obese!! So rude ! 😂😂👀
Very different and rather amazing to watch.. she was a fat one too.. do you think maybe that the reason she was so aggressively hungry was that she was producing eggs and the eggs and extra cricket made her look a bit chubby? Any way thanks Sarah and thanks David.. great show!
Yes possibly 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Cool.. I am gaining a little understanding maybe.. at 70 understanding is hard won for me..
She definitely looks gravid.😂
Her Reaction to tiny him looked very promising. He had to work hard tough.😆
Best wishes for lots of babies Dave!!!!! Great pairing.. He wasn't ready to quit was he?? Lol. Tyfs God bless you
I don’t think I have seen such an abdomen disparity 😂 and the reaction… clearly someone has been eating well in the Beastie Room!
I can't get over the size of the female...she's huge... Weight watchers for her 🤣😂... Talk about making sure it was a successful pairing, the male made sure, he did his thing. Interesting pairing. Well done Dave
Where did you get your shelves in the beastie room from please Dave? I can get the metal racking parts, but I'm struggling to find decent long/deep shelves. Great relaxing video as usual 👍🏻👍🏻
They. came from In-excess 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties cheers Dave, I'll check them out 👍🏻
What's the difference?❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Dave! Long time viewer first time commenter. I watch all your videos, your passion and dedication for your spiders has helped me with my fear of spiders so much :) Thanks for another cracking video!!
Thats awesome thank you 🙏
Thought our champ was about to have two dislocated arms from the way she was bending his arms that far back. Thanks for the loan for the male from fb. Like that booty tap from the male while the female was going back to her burrow. Thanks Dave!!
Little Dude's like the energizer bunny!
Loving that can-do attitude with seemingly inexhaustible stamina! Wondering how long he would have kept going given the chance. He's like, "No, man, I want her really, *really* pregnant."
Randy little fella... Definitely a stud.
Is it just me or does Nugget have a little crush on her 🤣
😂😂😂
Lovely species. I wish you luck with the sac given the failed ones this year.
Fingers crossed!
Time will tell indeed, Dave. Thanks for another lovely and entertaining video... very informative and interesting. He certainly handler her very well undeniably.
Glad you enjoyed it
Fingers crossed 🤞 Thank you for the video. You have a wild guy!! lol
That is one pleasantly plump tarantula. 😅
I can empathise with the poor lad. It _can_ be hard work maneuvering the bulk and finding the spot when attempting _you-know-what_ with big girls.
I have both the gold and olive color forms and they are just beautiful. I actually think the olive may be prettier. Since they are the same species can an olive and a gold be paired together? Would that sack produce both gold and olive slings?
I would keep them separate myself 👍
That girls junk trunk was huge, little man had a real weight training exercise there!!
I'm always gathering information from you Dave, all one need is a spider in your company and 'viola'.. learning ensues!!
Another great video from the Beastie Room.. 10/10. 100%. 👍😃👍.
P.S. shoutout to Sarah.. thankyou.❤️🙏
Thanks for watching!
If only all learning could come from teachers who love the subject they teach.
Hi Dave and Camera Lady 💙💕 hope you’re well and having a great Monday.
What a beautiful courtship these two little T’s had 🕷️🕷️ And what a wee soldier he was. For all the size of him he’s so strong and capable and so confident. Yes the female has a big booty, but I’d like to see her producing an egg sac. So the little fella’s efforts didn’t go to waste.
The camera work was amazing as usual. I watched this one on my tv and it was amazing to see on the big screen.
Can’t wait for more of your content and your wee beasties!
Take care and stay safe always 💙💕😘xxx
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Mr. Dave and all friends. As always, it was a calm and beautiful video.
They even found themselves a wife to live. But I can't find it :D
Wishing everyone a nice day.
Good morning from York, great video as always.
Thanks 👍
Awesome, thanks Dave and Camera Lady! It’s a good thing I stayed up late today. “They tend to be nervous”… little guy bounces off the wall to escape being touched by an antenna haha.
Glad to see these. I have been looking them up lately. I keep reading both that they can be kept communally, and also that they must not be (will cannibalize as adults).
Yes I would keep as singles they dont do well as they grow in groups 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Thanks for the reply! This seems to be the consensus.. too bad, I find the communal Balfouri very interesting
Or- Maybe she was filling up with eggs and was ravenous because she knows she will be sealed up with and eggs sack for a good spell....? It may not have been such a bad idea to feed her up. We shall watch and see.
Amazing footage and excellent work from camera lady! The spiders themselves were at the top of their game. The male was such a chad! She was so calm and responsive towards the male. This is the way. The Beasty way.
Thank you ❤️👍
I thought she was going to get fed up with all his fumbling and decide to eat him instead, but the little guy got the job done.
"Wanna go again"
"Sure, the first one was great"
I half expect you to throw us a curve ball someday and do a video of you pairing albino Ligers at the zoo.
Who told you about that ???😂😂😂😂
@@daveslittlebeasties I did :P
Absolutely fantastic Dave, very successful pairing by all accounts, I'm sure an egg sac will be produced, they're a beautiful species of spider 🕷, I think the dwarf species are quite stunning, anyway Dave another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Thank you 🙏
I enjoyed that video I wasn't worried about her going to eat him she was already so full, But I think she was full of eggs, She looked much too big to be just bloated, I really think she was full of eggs, Stunning spiders, Sending you my love from Tracy California💖🕷
Fingers crossed 🤞
If I remember this right, she only develops eggs AFTER a successful mating.
@@Ujuani68 I beg to differ studying mine over the years it would appear they ovulate during there moult cycle which would explain why we sometimes get phantom egg sacs from female who have never seen a male ?
@@daveslittlebeasties So she could be just full of eggs
@@daveslittlebeasties True, that. They do, sometimes.
Sorry. How many times can they inseminate in one setting
I have seen 3 times. 🙂👍
Quit a few it would appear 😂👍
There you go. Proof it's not always about the size! 😉 (referring to the male)
That my mam,"FOR THE FUTURE"
Baby got back.
That is one strong male!
"Flighty - not slightly"... auto spell check on Macs drive me crazy sometimes! Time stamp between 3:28 to 3:32.
the 1 time you can call a lady fat without being slapped in the face. lol
Hello Mr & Mrs beastie how are things In the Beastie room
Looking good my friend 👍
In the beginning of your film with the male being slightly, look at time 3:28 to 3:32 and I see what looks like a single long antenna from a cricket (?) waving up from the right side of the opening to his lower right side from an opening. It touches one of his legs - and that's when he jumps! Do you see this? Could it have been a still living feeding creature inside her cage?
It was surprising Mr Dave I was in shocked!
little dude got a workout lifting that girl!
wow, she's been fattening herself up for a reason❤❤❤
Absolutely great pairing, I wish I had the nerve to do it myself lol, camera lady excellent video you make Dave look good lol. 👍🍺
😂❤️
Wow-Amazing!!! Thank you! The size difference is huge! Well, at least you didn't have to worry too much about her eating him. Because of the size difference, you could really see the mating process which was great. Thank you guys for the amazing video💙💙💙💙💙
Good point. I have seen much less with lots of the giant sized spiders. These two were much more visible for a long time.
Do u think that since she was so bloated, he had trouble finding where to go?
I dont think so 😂👍
I can enjoy watching these videos a second time because its amazing to see the brave tiny males pushing under the massive female, the narration and camera work makes it a fascinating pairing 👍
I have some experience on these species. they drop sacs real quick and will hatch out at 4~5 weeks or so. I'm currently running 2 communals and they're so far not cannibalizing to N5. both my female kept producing sac afer sac until I rehoused them since I pulled their sacs (letting them hatch out naturally is better option).
That was my plan to allow her to do it 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Mother will hunt but will eat very little and leave out digested food items for babies to feed on. You might also see mothers making little warning sort of drumming signals before striking their prey.
@@daveslittlebeasties I've seen N2 slings begging food to their mother after hunting too
@@daveslittlebeasties a little warning: these commumal feedings will make webs very dirty and smelly
I feel scared for that male she’s like huge compared to him! These videos are so interesting to watch I absolutely love your videos
Thank you 🙏 😊
magical video with the footage of these 2 in this paring PROFF. the size difference in the 2 is very clear with his small legs against her and the huge bum.( or full of eggs ) what a courtship right from the start. well done CAMERA LADY with this video. brilliant guys. take care guys many thanks
Thanks for ridding me of my fear of tarantulas! I love your channel. I celebrate your love of tarantulas.
This was one of my favourite pairing videos so far because of the camera work. It was so nice to see everything so close up. Great job Dave and camera lady 😊👍🏻
What a randy little spider 😍😍😍 he worked very hard bless him, really hope he has been successful and she has lots of babies 🤍🤍🤍 fantastic video Mr and Mrs Dave 🙏🙏🙏
Hi Dave and Camera Lady!! That was a great pairing video! Thanks for sharing!!
Glad you enjoyed it
I play my own Dave's little beasties theme song in my head whenever I see a pairing video. I wish you could hear your theme song 🎵 😂😂
😂😂😂👍
She’s a patient lover, God bless them lmao
Amazing video as always!
Thank you ❤
I just picked up a Trinidad Olive and it's been awesome. It's out quite a bit. But definitely skittish. Runs right back into the webbing with any movements. Been hard to feed it because it's so skittish
I thought it was interesting to learn about frozen sperm being shipped world wide but it had not,for some reason, occurred to me that exotic spider males would be shipped lock, stock and sperm web, to advance the species. A great day! Learned something new and very interesting. You need to add one more phrase to your closing, "And let your spiders love one another."Until the advent of phone and small video cameras I can understand why so little was known about spiders and their mating habits. Without the ability to enlarge and or replay the interactions human eyes and comprehension are no match for spider speed! And the little "Dude" from Sarah is a truly game little guy. Thank you for another magical video, Dr. Dave.
🙏 thank you
Great Vid Dave and Camera Lady ! Are you sure she ate the second cricket ? I noticed that what startled the little dude at the beginning appeared to be an antennae sneaking up on him !
I noticed that also 👍🏼
A small roach 👍
