In this video we are out for a nice chill night ride and Anthony hands me the keys to his brand new 2021 Yamaha R1 and tells me to wheelie it. The new Yamaha R1 is a HUGE step up above the previous generation. Yamaha fixed everything that was wrong with my generation (2014 Yamaha R1). If I were to switch motorcycles I would miss the undertail exhaust and the look of the angry headlights that are on my bike. However, my mind is racing with ideas of things I could do with the new generation R1. Not to mention, the new generation is a lot faster, smoother, and has updated technology that can make it more enjoyable to ride (at times).

I bought an R1M 2020 about 2 months back, then 2 weeks ago i went to show someone my 2006 50th anniversary R1(which i hadnt ridden since buying the new R1M) showed the guy all the many things i did to it and all. Dude said he will have an answer for me the next day, i said cool lmk so then i bounced and on the way home i had so much fun, the personality of the bike and just all the things me and that baby been through, even though the 06 has no quickshifter and doesnt sound as sexy, something inside me was like Naa, when dude hmu the next day telling me lets do it i was like hold up my badd my dude but i cant do it... and the price was right too. I say all that to say this once its gone Its Gone!

The new R1's are faster, lighter and sleek looking, but nothing is cooler than the 08-14 body style. That bike has so much style and personality. With your additions and cooler way too, shieeeeeeeet, ain't no way I would sell it.

No question if you can afford it the r1m is insanely great bikes. My rule of thumb if I can't afford to buy something 2x over cash it's best to wait though. There will always be bigger and badder next year. Plus you already got the duc.

Other than the speed i see why not. Enough power to not force you to be at balance point and sportbikes have some of the smoothest engines out there. Takes some practice to do it slow tho.

I would say dont sell storm because I like it so much. But to make nice content, first of all u have to be injoying your bike. So sell it if u don't injoy it so much anymore. I think alot of people on this channel are following you and not realy your bike (there are alot of other channels where people ride only R1's but viewers are not really interested in them).
