  • ‘New Spring’, was created by London-based Swine Studio for the 2017 Milan Design Week. Japanese architect Azusa Murakami and British artist Alexander Groves envisioned an immersive and multi-sensory experience surrounding a larger-than-life-sized botanical sculpture.
Inspired by Cherry Blossom trees the six-meter-high art installation, created out of recycled aluminium, released large translucent bubbles from the ends of each branch which dissolved when they came into contact with skin, but not when they touched textured fabrics - meaning visitors could handle them with gloves.
