As you can see in this video and in my build video, no mana issues in T1, so have fun bro. Your party will appreciate that constant Whisper attack buff ;)

for abys dungeons which build do you use?

RAID build, as its for single target, you can use PvE build during the early part of the dungeon when we go thru mobs, but need to change it before the boss fight, these days though I just keep it on RAID build all the way, lazy to change xD

isn't beginner's mind BM only viable option for engraving?

You can go Beginner's mind if you don't want to deal with the energy generation mechanics, but as you can see from gameplay here, even without optimized gear, I was able to execute 4-orb Esoteric/Ultimate skills most of the time in T1. Its a more challenging and big damage when we can align all the buffs for big deeps. So go with whatever you enjoy playing and have fun with.
