I just got back from an open day. Despite being one of the candidates with the best english skills and a lot of experience in customer care, I was immediately discharged. There were people dressed casually, not even groomed, that didn't say a single word about them in the 1 minute presentation because they had poor english or were too nervous, and they still made it through the first phase. Just me and other 7-8 people out of 45 were not selected, apart from 2 young girls, all the rejected were 30+. They might not say it clearly as a requirement on their website but they definetely have an age limit as a "hidden" rule in their policy.
because you are educated, Emirates did not want educated and smart people that are over 30, i applied for them just to mock their system, with a phd, and they rejected me immediately telling me that I am overqualified for this job.
I just attended an open day and observed the same phenomenon. A lady I stood next to was mid 30s, beautifully groomed and articulate. She was eliminated in the first round while other younger girls who were dressed casually stayed with me for the next round. I observed that all over 30 were eliminated. It was clearly an age thing! 🙃
Thank you so much on a very informative video ate! I'm 29 and I've been hesitating on applying since I feel like it's too late. Would you happen to know about the photo requirements you have to upload online? is it just a full body and a headshot with a white background?
Unfortunately, after recently attending an open day, emirates does seem to discriminate based on age. I stood next to a lady in her mid 30s who was beautifully groomed, articulate and lots of experienced in customer service. She was eliminated in the first round, while the girl standing next to her who struggled to speak in front of the group and was dressed casually and without hair properly done stayed til the final interview. It was clearly an age issue. 🙃
will watch.wait. While watching I notice that the dress is same as the 2previous vlog. Ilang kulay meron ka niya ate Mae? hehe 11:31 pm sa wakas napanood ko na ng buo. Parang may chance pala ako sa Emirates.hahaha Papayat lang ng konto siguro. Char! SEPANX to the Max!! Ayan mga future FA may tips na from Ate Mae!!! Must watch this. This is very helpful.😴😴😴
Thank you so much beautiful! I have a question please! I passes my final interview on March 2020, and then I got an "On hold" email stating that Ek is excited about my future with them but they will have to put my app on hold! Now, that EK has opened registration again and are calling redundant crew back, do you think that I and the candidates in my case still have a chance of being called and received the GC? It goes without saying that on my account it says "Interview Complete" as a status and "active (accepting job submissions) which means the 6 month rule doesn't apply! Thank you again for your amazing content and help!!
Salamalaykum Ms Mae. Would like to ask if Emirates is dominated by women cabin crews? What about those male aspirants who wants to apply as cabin crew. TYIA.
Kindly advice on how long the CV should be How best to present it and is a long CV a turn off that for those who have a couple of experience in different jobs since it obviously won't match with a highschool graduate's CV Thank you in advance, I'll wait for your response
Mam , Q. We want to pay training fees? Can we wear stockings when we fly? And I love you so much you are sooo pretty Now I am in 8th class it's my dream🤗
what this video shows is that Dubai is a labour law wilderness. This alone shall put people off even to consider to join such a workplace from hell. unfortunately there are too many people in this world who can only escape their poverty in joining such a crap company. But don't be wrong: Most of the rules Airlines like Emirates have put into place for their employees would not only be unconstitutional in European countries but also criminal offenses. THAT IS HOW BAD EMIRATES IS!
Yes they do and they are hiring. Apply online or go through Frankfinn as they hire in conjunction with them. You dont necessarily need to be thier student. Walk up to any FF insti. and give your screening interview. Hope it helped.
Glad to hear airlines starting to employ flight crews again. ☺️ Also really glad to see you getting better and looking healthier. ❤️ Just want to ask, both my molars have been removed. Would that affect my application (if ever I decide to sumbit 😂)?

Why would it be too late ? 29 is still 20s, that’s literally young 😂
