It was funny at 6:30 when she hands him a cup of coffee and then a few seconds later when he sets it on his desk it is completely empty. Since I haven't seen the show I'm not sure who left the company, why, and who the people were after everyone walked out.

Why are they bringing out company files when they're resigning already? Those are company properties, not of staff's. Just wowndering why.
This is a set tool. It's a drama set with no real documents or personal belongings to flesh out the scene, just blanks and items that can be picked up at any dollar store. They also could easily have been empty papers representing personal papers of the exiting employees. It's good that you pay attention to such details but it can get in the way of your emersion into the scene.
In drama land lol, they're probably files of personal ideas that hasn't been presented to the company yet. Now that they're quitting they're taking them with them to their new place of business or just because it still belong to them personally. This happens in all tv entertainment when the person quits or gets fired. At least I've noticed it a lot anyway. I guess they need to fill the filing box with more than just trinkets and a coffee ☕ 🤷🏽♀️
@@trebblerunner9486 I don't think this is what she meant lol. I think she meant why didn't the writer and producer make it more realistic, because in the real world this couldn't happen. I explained they may be acting as if they are taking out personal ideas that hadn't been presented to the company as yet or maybe it wasn't approved by the company, still leaving it in ownership of the creator of the product idea.

That's as good of an explanation as any. When I saw the scene I realized that is out of context and only a snipit of the story. I also made the same observations about how unrealistic it looks but chalked up, in my mind, to low budget or poor set design and poor acting. I'd have to watch the whole drama to make an informed determination. Unfortunately this clip left a lot to be desired in "the hook me into watching" department. It's probably not a bad drama I just won't be watching it.
