We spent a week in California in May and tbh whatever this type of trip costs it must be a bargain, as the cost of eating out in the US nowadays is INSANE!!! We spent approx. $250 a day EXCLUDING drinks - and that was just regular type joints...

Hi Joey! So glad you like the Sun! I was on the Feb 28th cruise, which turned out to be the inaugural, so some venues weren't open yet. Nice to see your videos of them and I'm SO GLAD to see so many of the crew again - particularly the crew at Good Spirits at Sea and Crooner's! I was in a Reserve mini-suite and I never noticed the mirror's being anti-fog in the middle! I wonder if that's just on the cabana class minis? I'll be on the Sun again on October 19th and looking forward to seeing the theater and finished dome in person!

I was lucky enough to go on the QE2 but wow, it's so small compared to the Sun Princess! It's huge!!!! We saw some of the cruise ships in Madeira and was gobsmacked at their size along with this ship you sailed on! Great video...watched it last night in bed and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Wonderful video. Really great. I will be sailing transatlantic in late September on the Sun Princess. Constructive criticism is to echo the other poster's comment about your camera panning speed. It is way too fast most of the time. I know that seasickness sometimes happen while aboard a ship, but I didn't expect to experience that while watching your video. Otherwise, this is a brilliant video!
yeah, I was trying to film in a new style with the iPhone for the first time, turned out it was a 4D experience haha. Glad you enjoyed the video regardless haha.
Excellent video and review. We are doing our first Princess Cruise and it will be on the Sun Princess at the end of this month (July). I have been watching all of the UA-cam videos of the Sun Cruise ship since the beginning of the year and I think your review is one of the best. Excellent video taping/ editing, views of the ship, food descriptions and experience, BRAVO! Never thought I would try a Po Boy sandwich on a cruise but I will definitely try theirs after watching your video. Question, Park 19- was it still closed? TIA

You will enjoy I am sure. We had our first cruise on sun princess and it was outstanding. Deck 19 wasn't open when we sailed in may. To be honest, I was looking forward to some of attractions there, but I don't really know how I would have made time for it The food was outstanding and the drink package was way too inviting (and I barely drink). So much fun.
Thanks for the tour! Do you think the ship would be comfortable for a 15 day trans-atlantic voyage? 8 days at sea - with not a totally indoor pool feels like a cold plunge!
I think so, it is well set up for it, you can keep active in the gym. There is plenty of outdoor space! I would just use it as an opportunity to east your way through the restaurants and chill.
Hello Joel, I generally like your video and you have an awesome speaking voice. One recommendation is when shooting the videos to slow you camera movements. Several times the camera view would swing around very quickly whereby I would start to feel motion sickness. So remember to slow you motions and think of yourself actually taking a ride inside your camera and looking out. I also enjoy that you shoot video on normal sea days so I can get a feel of the ship with people in activities.
I decided to make my videos 4D for how I felt on the ship, I was just preparing you for the ship haha. Yeah I’ll keep that in mind when filming in the more relaxed style, always testing new ways to film edit. Hope you enjoyed the video regardless
We were on bard last month same room but we didn’t have slippers 😢 also towels like you have in your room … they still haven’t refund our money for princess plus… 🤯 it’s been more than 3 months since we cancelled it
@@Lorna.R it is pointed out in a pop up at the start of each video. Equally I was on the ship alone, as a normal passenger, I just had the Premier Package. The experience is the same as a normal passenger.
It was a gifted cruise, but I was under no obligation (or contract) to film anything, say anything or review anything. Onboard was my genuine experience and my honest opinion (as you will see in my next video).
