    Hi just made my first earring and decided to replace the crystals on the head pin with firepolished to keep the cost down. Also added a crystal cube at the base and a star on top. Thinking of turning it into a pendant and also looking forward to trying your Christmas tree ornament tutorial. Lovely. Thank you.

    Amy, go underneath the video and choose on the right side the option 1080 P HD and next to that is an option for full screen, if you choose both option you will be able to see much better what I'm doing cause the quality is better :-) All my vids are in HD for that purpose

    The earrings are adorable and the red Christmas tree ornament is just sooooo beautiful. Also you have a very soothing voice which made this video a lot nicer than the vids that are mute. Thank you so much. :))

    Can you revisit this video. I couldn't follow this one very well. and as it's five years ago it'd be much clearer I'm sure . also can you do it with darker beads . x

    I did it! I used #2 green bugles, red 11/0 in place of the 9, 15/0 silver in place of the 11/0, and 8/0 s/l Crystal seed beads in place of the Swarovski. Not as pretty but it worked. The headpin was a bit of a challenge since this is my first time using one, but I got it done. 😊

    Could I use silk thread? The line you are using looks very difficult to work with. Thank you for the video, I love the little trees.

    These are so cute but I had to use 2.5mm Swarovski crystals to make everything fit. Thank you for these and the Christmas tree Ornament... so pretty!! Bless you!

    What # are the bugles? When I was in the store I had to look online because the store’s beads had # and not mm. I thought I found 6mm to be a #2. Is this incorrect? Maybe that’s my problem?

    Can you use fire line for this? What is the best thread/line to use? Thanks for the wonderful new twist on Christmas tree earrings. They are beautiful!

    • @B4Pbakup
      @B4Pbakup  11 років тому +1

      You can always try, I guess you will hear it soon enough if they held up or fell apart :-) Bugels are always a problem. So far no thread has been designed yet that can hold up against their sharp edges

      I think I do that as I go along don't I? I mean I do say what I use right? Or didn't I? Can't remember vid is a year old

      Sorry but most of the time I'm beading I am still not sure what exactly I will be using myself so you will have to just bead along with me and find out along the way :-)

  • @janahunter429
    @janahunter429 5 років тому

    I followed your directions exactly, but when I try to get the cone shape it won’t do it as if I have too many beads, but I don’t. I am using the same sizes except an 8/0 instead of a 9/0. Any suggestions?

    • @B4Pbakup
      @B4Pbakup  5 років тому

      that might well be the problem, using 8/0 instead of 9/0 te size difference is pretty big. 9/0 is the size of guterman beads.

    • @janahunter429
      @janahunter429 5 років тому

      B4Pbakup I'm pretty new to beading but all I have available to me are 6, 8, 11, and 15/0 seed beads. I bought as 2 bugle beads. After I wrote last night I tried downsizing my beads. It seemed to be working, but I did something wrong after adding the tail bead. Will try again this morning.

    With all do respect, it's not real clear which bead or beads your passing the needle through. I know you know what your doing, but it's hard to tell what bead you're passing the needle through if you don't tell us.
