Maruti Suzuki should have increased the cylinder capacity to 20kg & limit petrol tank size to 35 ltrs only. Petrol is available everywhere including small towns & villages, but CNG filling stations are very less & hence 500km distance should be able to be covered by CNG. Maruti should recall all CNG ertiga vehicles & change the CNG tanks to 20kg & petrol tank to 35 ltrs only. Present 12kg CNG tank fills only 8kg and this needs to be improved

A high weight of CNG Tank problem can be solved by changing the material of construction of the CNG tank. At present it is made of Carbon Steel material, if it is made of SS stainless steel material. The weight will reduce drastically, with better strength. But cost will rise again it can be compensate with light weight. This is the best solution.

I have wagon r company fitted cng since 2011 and I m very happy with it.I m from rajkot (gujarat) and here in many cng pump pressure is 210 or 230. In wagon r 10 kg cylinder is there and it filled around 8.50 to 9 and sometimes above 9.so it's ok or not?pls reply

@@lalitgupta6981 I don't face any problem in acceleration with ac.if u face then pls gadi check kara lo.may be its injector issue.
I think Max air space should be atleast 3 to 4 kilo for safety
