Does the authority of the Akosombo Dam perform tabletop incident response planning, also known as tabletop exercises or simulations, to prepare for and respond to various types of incidents and crises?
If such exercises were in place, the authorities would have foreseen the effect of this spill on the community.
I am sure somebody was doing their job daily, recording the levels as the water was rising.
The data would then be consolidated into a graphical format and shared with team leads, who would pass it on to the directors.
This information would enable the directors to make decisions, regarding alerting the communities near the dam's potential downfall path.
