Well, actually, if you study psychological development, I think you'll find that sexuality kicks in a bit earlier than that, particularly with girls (though it is more innocent for them for many years). You are right that our society's sexualized nature is affecting their development though.
But you know.... Their innocence is still preserved because they don't really know what they're talking about! Even if they know the meaning of the words they can't relate that to THEIR lives. So to them it is just fun to say these words. Mainly, because it is forbidden. The same thing happens with sex. Even very young children have sexual feelings, but of course they can't really know what they are. And when we're becoming adolescents we can't explore our sexual discoveries because of society.
