Great looking roof. Getting closer to a factory look everyday. I love the dirt drag strip at the end. Liked the blues music today too. Thanks Brent, always entertaining. 👍😎🍺🎸🎵
The reason I am subscribed to your channel is because of your no nonsense approach!!! I came, I saw, I conquered!!! That's how I do things as well!! Unlike other dreamers, like pa kettle, when ma ask him to do something, he says one of these days ma I'll get it done!! Thank you for making my day a whole lot better!!! God bless and stay safe my friend!!
I love it. I'm over here trying to tote stuff into the garage on a carpet dolly and a guy wheels up to his loose bits section with a telehandler fork lift. So nice.
This channel gets a thumbs from me before I even watch it. Consistently good content Thank you for all your hard work ....for those of us that are not able to.
It's just amazing to see how everything comes together. Your skill level just blows my mind. Had no idea this was even possible but I've never seen any body work done. Awesome job.
You know a fabricator is good when they eyeball a tape measure for 2 microseconds, and know what the measurements are! Keep it up Brent, won't be missing any of your videos anytime soon!
Excellent job with the roof and the side’s of the roof as well !!! Loving this truck more and more each time I watch another video of yours. Can’t wait to see the finished product
Becoming one of my favorite channels! I'm an old 82+ year old hill billy from Ky living in New Zealand since 2000. I love to see old vehicles saved or rebuilt etc:
That roof profile looks really good. Like you say, most people will never see the actual top. I also say a little bit at a time, piece by piece it starts to come together. I believe it sometimes as well. All the best, Mart.
That roof fit like a glove man, I love this truck and the blues jam at 21:40... I did one kinda similar the morning of my nephews funeral, don't really know blues but it's starting to click in recent years... it's called Drop C Blues Improvised riff acoustic guitar jamming out rough draft...
I found this Chanel about 3 months ago by accident man I am so glad that happened you are a metal working machine and the way you show the craft is cool thanks from Vermont
Very impressive work keep the videos coming. Great to see craftsmanship like this being done in Manitoba. I would suggest placing extra bracing below the roof to keep it from oil canning and give yourself added attachment points for the headliner and any interior lights or other features.
You do some pretty neat music on your time lapses, stuff that I wouldn't normally chase up myself, but I do find it really nice. Great channel and I love seeing how the subscriber count is climbing.
Me thinks you put as much effort and time into making and editing videos as you do in grinding and welding and it sure does show in what you offer to us couch potatoes. You certainly do have my admiration and my appreciation Brent.
Man you sure picked the perfect roof. Obviously it still required a lot of cutting and welding. But the shape and size was perfect. Loving the truck. Thanks for the video. Can't wait till the next one.
That was awesome that the Buick roof fit so well . It looks like it was made for that whole roof even though you had to do some modifications. Lol. There's no way you could climb around on the fender hood and cowling of today's vehicle without it crushing in. Stuff back in the day was built heavy duty. That truck is going to look totally awesome when you finish it 👍👍
Great work. You have a real knack for looking at pieces of sheetmetal and choosing which ones will fit into what you are building. Loved the dirt drags at the end! :-)
When you were looking at the roof I was waiting for you to say "But that one has snow on it so we will use this one" LOL! You sure made it fit well, looks good!
Makes me think of how a sculptor or an artist work. Very interesting and entertaining to watch both the thinking process and how the ideas then materialises 🙂
Dude, you are the craziest fabricator I've seen in a long time. This is pure LOVE and COMMITMENT for a dream and I don't even know how to weld. Wish I learned. God Bless and live your dream.
I do like the blues music around 22 mins. Very Delta blues style. Almost expected John Lee Hooker or Muddy Waters to start singing. May the Parthenon's of Gods rest their souls.
You are a master metal fabricator, that cab looks as factory as it can be. Great job of fitting it all together to make a 4 door that didn't even exist back when the truck was made ;-)
I'm enjoying watching this ole boy come together! Kind of reminds me of the Frankenstein in the movie Van Helsing. Big tires and wheels remind me of his block shoes and the rest of Frankenstein. I Like It Alot.. Awesome Work Brother..
Hi Brent you're one "awesome Fabricator " You really cracked me up when you said "they can't see both sides at the same time,,, also aaaaah only people in high building can see my roof" that was my philosophy,,,when i live up in Utah i built custom race car from what ever came to hand race them on Bonneville salt flats i did a Dodge,,, with a v10 motor power,,, one hell of a fast pickup, like "s##t of a shovel",,,,i did my Co2 welding to same as you do hold the shroud with my left hand panel hammers all Snap-on,,, hickory stale,,,, plenty of panel bashing ,, spot weld rivets,,, stop distortion gas torch to shrink high spots Brent watching you is pure poetry in motion,,,, can't wait to future videos Ed Sierra Vista AZ
One roof made to order. Fries with that? "Gonna get my welder, gonna get my welder baby, gonna get my welder yeah, Gonna Butt weld you Baby, all day...."
Wow - you sure have an eye for what is going to work man - that Buick roof skin sure made that truck! The lines are looking mighty fine!! Love the drag racing at the end! Looked like some great fun!! Take care Brent!
Watching you do this coolest project ever feels really special. It's not just the crazy impossible masterpieces of fabrication you pull off, but you exude an energy that becomes part of what you do. You see it before you do it. Your the fabrication Rembrandt. Great presentation, great dialog, addicting content. Sorry for all the compliments. Just saying, you know. Best wishes. Thanks
Killer music behind all your vids, dig the hard core blues guitar groove complete with vinyl crackle during the last part of this one.... oh yeah, the project is a a fun one to watch too!
i really like your choice in music. i was into the blues when welding the roof on. sounded like lightning (hopkins). no pun intended. very cool looking truck,
Between Halfass Kustoms and Coldwarmotors you guys can keep me captivated all week. Nice work on the roof! Yeah, maybe brace the inside to keep it from caving in from snow when stored outside.
What an absolutely fantastic creation. You never cease to amaze me Brent. Huge amount of work & you're killing it Mate. Cheers for sharing. Billy J.... OZ Land.
MINT!!!!!! MINTY MINT!!!! Brent, you are killin' it my friend! Every video is like Christmas morning as a kid lol. Thank you for sharing all your builds my friend. One more surgery and I might have enough movement to tackle a project again one day (military injuries). Until then, your channel is my outlet lol. Stay safe bro!!
thanks for the education (Butt welding tutorial) - I always hear and "see" about it ,but you covered it nicely. That fork lift seems like it was an amazing purchase on your part.
Most guys would spent the amount of time thinking about the first cut, as you did installing the roof. Nice job Brent.
I absolutely love this build. That amount of sheet metal work is terrifying. I wouldn't have a clue where to start. Kudos.
haha one piece at a time.
About where Brent did lol 🤣😂 it works well
Just remove what don't belong and add what's needed. Not that simple of course unless you're halfass customs.
Great workmanship. Looks like it wasn’t suppose to be any other way.
@@HalfassKustoms I wonder who else picks up on the Johnny Cash reference. But this ain't no caddy. Lol
Great looking roof. Getting closer to a factory look everyday. I love the dirt drag strip at the end. Liked the blues music today too. Thanks Brent, always entertaining. 👍😎🍺🎸🎵
You’re cranking out the videos on this one!! Awesome job!!
I'm in awe! That Buick roof looks like it was meant to be on that truck!!! Saving "bits" is a very important thing indeed! GREAT JOB!!!
You are an Artist! I am soooo enjoying this..
For me watching it looked almost perfect fit. I'm sure that it wasn't for you; lots of cutting and welding, but it looks great.👍

I love it. I'm over here trying to tote stuff into the garage on a carpet dolly and a guy wheels up to his loose bits section with a telehandler fork lift. So nice.
I am captivated by your videos, your patience and most of all your knowledge. You are trually an artist the way you put those pieces together.
Dude you work so hard your wearing me out man, truck is gonna be awesome!
Oh look there’s an old Buick roof I cut and saved years ago and now it fits like a glove on my custom fab crew cab International. Love it!
This channel gets a thumbs from me before I even watch it.
Consistently good content

You are quite the inspiration for a guy who likes to tinker in the garage.
The replacement roof was made for the truck!
That worked out just right, lot of work gone into it, appreciate you taking the time to share the project 👍🏴

Have to agree with everyone else's comments, what an eye you have. I want this truck! Cant wait for the next instalment. You da man!
I was wanting you to use the split rear windows and definitely add a big front visor. She's looking good. Enjoy
Two big air tanks off the front fenders would be kool .
Love the 4dr Int. You have probably the best background music I have heard, especially the guitar pickin, seems to go with your build attitude..
I found this Chanel about 3 months ago by accident man I am so glad that happened you are a metal working machine and the way you show the craft is cool thanks from Vermont

put in that roof brace- good place to hang the interior dome light-
I liked how you left all of the side patch pieces 'wild', and then put the top on and cut away the excess a little at a time. brilliant.

That roof works the nuts! what a build. What a ride you're taking us on. Thanks.
Lookin good! I had some doubts when this project started, but I should never underestimate a talented tin man!
Loving this build. That long piece from the original roof would make a great visor. Has the right contour and everything.
I have to say, that Buick roof looks like it was made for this truck. Looks like it fits almost perfectly on there!
When you were looking at the roof I was waiting for you to say "But that one has snow on it so we will use this one"
LOL!
You sure made it fit well, looks good!
I love these old trucks, this one is getting new life.
Going to look super, bad ass!

Wow you made that look easy! Its a pleasure to watch a craftsman do what they do best!

You are a metal magician! Love the colour of the rear fenders. She is really coming together nicely.
