If I used hyper silver as a base under trans colors would I cure fully like chrome or would I go to flow out, then cool, then add trans color and then cure fully by top coat instructions
Great finish on those wheels. I’m curious to know how applying a hyper silver liquid paint reacted once you prebaked it? I’ve always been the paint “lift” if not stripped so I’m a little confused about that.
Hey Brenden. We always start by stripping the wheel. At the paint we use is freshly sprayed to the wheel. You will need to allow it to air dry before you place it in the oven that way It will not bubble
Order was, 1) Sprayed Hyper Silver Powder, cured partial, applied primer, then applied top coat of candy red. From my understanding primer should be applied under the base coat, not sure why they did it this way but they know what they're doing.
We powder coat our wheels hot. We started by doing a gray primer then we let it cool to room temperature. We then applied liquid hyper. We let it air dry. Then we preheated the wheel and applied the trans color. We topped it off with clear coat

Once you use the hyper let it air dry. Once dry preheat the wheel in the oven then apply the trans color

what brand and color Is that rose gold color
So do you paint the hyper silver? Then powdercoat over the paint? Also did you powdercoat the wheels hot?

Did you sand it before putting a clear top coat?
Yes it was sand blasted
