What a wonderful lesson for this short piece and its particular demands of the picking hand. Your instruction is both concise and thorough while also accessible too. Thank you!
Very good lesson with lots of interesting tips which I will have to come back to of course. I've only looked at the video once through I'll have to come back and study it in more detail
Thank you again Gohar! For your lessons and patience (for example answering some partially crazy questions on insta:), not at least for your talent and music!
The way you play blows my mind... been playin 2 years and you set the standards for me... thats where i would like to be but i can't see that in sight... i do love to play though and I'll keep loving it. I'll take whatever comes as I keep going haha. I need to increase reaction speed in my a finger...
I thought I was kicking butt on this song until I heard you play it! Makes me want to toss my guitar in the fireplace and go fold socks! LoL wonderful wonderful
I've discovered when playing the same chord from up on the finger board toward the first position holding down the fourth finger can help a lot; you can keep the fingers approximately without the squeaking sound since it's a nylon string
These are very good instructions and you provide some good insights. I've been playing this one for the past few months (s-l-o-w-l-y) and have come to appreciate that it's a study with some depth to it. It's quite challenging and very worthwhile. I wish I could give this video two likes.
Hi Gohar, can you share a lesson on Villa Lobos etude 2? Etude 2 is very tricky. left hand does not always plays same pattern as in other normal arpeggio etudes. And the right hand also does not go by the same pattern
Thanks for the instruction. Do you have any comments on "planting" for either practicing or performing this piece? It seems like a good study for this technique.
I don't plant usually. You can use planting as a learning technique, but when you play fast there is no time to plant before plucking. : ) Think of it more like training wheels for a bicycle. :)
@@GoharVardanyan That's a good analogy for teaching. I was experimenting with this yesterday and found the planting helpful for economy of motion but it had a limit for speed. Then after stopping planting the speed was much easier and assured.
@@kurtpenner2362 Yup, and that's pretty much what it should be used for. Some people stick with it for too long, thinking it's the only way to play. But if you want to sound legato or play fast, you can't plant. It mutes the string before plucking the next note, so you can't be REALLY legato, there will always be some interruption. And it wastes time when playing really fast. But you can use it as a Practice technique, it's good for minimizing unnecessary motion and increasing accuracy.
If your hand position and everything is correct and you still can't reach it, then a smaller scale guitar might be your only option. Unless you can work on the elasticity of your hand over time with constant stretching exercises.
Gohar Vardanyan well said. It took me a lot of practice stretches to finally get my left hand working. You might also study some ted Greene chord exercises. That will really put your left hand to work.
I have been playing (learning) this song 2 years ago... My main problem is the sound so low,why is it because i use a Yamaha c40 cheapest guitar player or something else
Jubnx as an etude I think it is important to play it like this for developing an even right hand technique, but for performance changing the dynamic and tempo can make it much more musical. I usually practice both ways.

@@GoharVardanyan Thanks so much. Talking to a professional is great fun and instructive.
Excellent lesson(s). Very glad to visit you again. Are you still in New York (as I recall)?

Please is there etude like this for left hand?
Se sienten algunos ruiditos indeseables cuando vas descendiendo, hay que corregir.
Saludos.
Really love your playing Gohar. I was just wondering what type camera you use to record your videos and whether you use a separate mic or not? Thanks
Thank you! These instructional videos are recorded with Sony a6300 with a Rode Video MicPro attached to the camera.
Gohar Vardanyan cool, thank you!
I can never get the dreaded G# over E. Any suggestions??
Laura Morales practice + smaller guitar.

Helpful tips Gohar. What metronome speeds do you recommend?
Hi Gohar ! Your GUITAR flex 12 action sixth string and first string about milimetre how many?
I see Gohar barre very easy !
My action is 3.5mm at the 1st string and 4.5mm for the 6th string.
@@GoharVardanyan oh my god ! 4,5 mm Very high for me . Thank you so much . I practing warm finger every day style spider pumping Nilong
lindo!
I have been playing (learning) this song 2 years ago...
My main problem is the sound so low,why is it because i use a Yamaha c40 cheapest guitar player or something else
I entered here because I wanted to hear and listen to the final harmonics and just that is missing in the explanation
I keep for years fighting with this and i can barely manage to play it. ......
My thumb curves backwards in an uncontrolled movement so it tenses unnecessary
How should i struggle with it.?
L❤ke u
You needed to discuss right hand sequential planting first , as the most important thing in working on this piece ❤️
I don’t plant when I play.
Est ce possible mais j entends des fautes
camera man who doesn't know music always ruins it for me by showing the wrong hand at the exact moment they should've go on the other one
the interpretation is not very good in my opinion because there was little too none variation in volume and emotion. But! the technique is quite good.
Jubnx as an etude I think it is important to play it like this for developing an even right hand technique, but for performance changing the dynamic and tempo can make it much more musical. I usually practice both ways.

I appreciate your work.. but don't you think 39 Dollar is tooooooooo much for one piece!
It’s not one piece, it’s all his etudes, preludes, and I think 2 choros, I can’t remember.
@@GoharVardanyan by the way I love your work and you deserve the best ... thank you and good luck 🌹🎶
