Wow! I missed this earlier. So glad a classmate forwarded it to me. Well done! How beautifully this video captured the story of many young boys and girls
Just too good, beautifully composed and sung by Mr David Lal, music teacher of famous school "Wynberg Allen School" Thank u David. This song remind me of my past school days more than 3 decades ago. Wow....love this song. I'm Proud to be an Alwynian. Excelsior !!!
Wonderfully written and sung by music teacher Mr.David lal ! This song was written for one of his assemblies ! And beautifully tells the memorable journey of a student at wynberg allen from start to finish !! And the story goes on for life! God bless you all ! :) Excelsior !!
Wonderful song and video, was there when David sir showed this video for his assembly as well as when he was shooting pictures around the school. Great job with the video, singing and writing as well David sir, it brings back wonderful memories of my years at Wynberg Allen
I was a part of this school sadly, I say sadly because the years i spent in WAS was one of my worst years in my life. The teachers hit the children like Crazy and the Seniors punished the juniors like hell. There was this art teacher, Mishra, he almost beat the life out of children in those days, treating them like absolutely piece of shit, Others used to Cane the kids who wouldn't be able to sit for Days . The seniors used to punish the Juniors right in front of the Teachers and all this was going on under full awareness of Mr T.W. Philipps who i must say am damn glad that is Dead for good. Anyways to name a few of the best teachers i've come across in life, Mr David Lal, Mr Hatwal, Mr and Mrs Martin and a few more who were actually good to the kids. I hope this all has changed by now under the new administration of Mr Tindale and wish the school best of luck in this competitive world where beating the children and torturing them would not bring you the good Bucks these days .
It is a shame that other students from WAS did not have the 'sad' experience that you did, right? You need to grow up and watch how you talk about people. WAS taught me that, didn't teach you?
It was my experience and i put that here, i don't know and don't care if other people went through the same hell as i did and as far as talking about Grown Ups, i think you should mind your own business you fool
So sorry for your bad experience. My years at Wynberg are full of happy memories. Yes we did get slapped and the boys caned, but in those days it was acceptable; but to my personal experience and knowledge it was never abusive.
Superb.... lovely voice. Salute to the script writer..
Really Very much heart touching ☺️

I'm reminded of the day I was admitted to Wynberg in 1949. How I cried when my dad left me in the charge of my teacher.
Thank you so much for your beautiful comment and for liking the video! God bless you. Excelsior!!
