6:46 Mustard basically described how the storm chasers surfing LTM from season 9 worked except in that everyone had driftboards, and shockwave & impulse grenades and some other items were in the loot pool. I liked it because it was a unique LTM.

To get out with permissions, you need to use a rift to go in a new island but don't move when you first load into it. Use it and you'll be out with edits

Or, the easier way, put a snowman outside the barrier, jump in it, out and phase through the 2nd barrier

This method no longer works and has been replaced by a private method that involves jumping with a rare item
Use a rift to get to the main island! You can build and it saves! You can even bring 1000+ unrelsed props to your own island as well as copy pasting thing (the memory shows as Hugh but it let's you)

Having played around with it a little I have gotten over my initial disappointment. A little.
Some mechanics seem to be broken, and that’s always fun when you’re learning something new and a software defect looks a lot like a knowledge defect, but I’ve got a fun idea started. I just keep coming back to the question “is it worth compromising so much to get this working on BR island when I could just use a POI and make a smaller map? I’ve got a small channel too, so I’m hardly going to be queuing up 100 players much.
Generally it’s a fun first step, and hopefully it gets more features added. I’d love them to do a Q&A with the devs over the decisions that have been made.
i dont think they really thought about what to add, because the devices are listed exactly the same as in a normal menu and its in exactly the same order. Also theres things like jump pad and bounce pad, i guess they just wanted to push it out here to get us kinda hyped for the future. I hope the next update will add a lot of devices, like the conditional button for shops.

The victory Royal bug reminds me of the lore of the storyline. The the Batman Fortnite comics, we found out if someone stands in the center of the storm while they’re the last one standing they escape the loop and are free to roam the island. That’s basically what happened to Chad Mustard at like 6:30
This is way better than I thought it was. Cause I was disappointed that we couldn't edit the map asni wanted to make my own POI'S.
you can have edits with the rift to go thing just try doing it on someone elses island like a friend

If you go into a game of the BR map you have to use the rift to go before changing settings or play. Then you can have your phone and get to the BR map and edit it. Also you have to have phase mode on to get pass the barrier.

Something that is really annoying is that the bots for some reason leave mid-match, so when you don’t change the storm at all, and by second circle there is 20-30 bots left which is annoying
wyea they also die of fall damage right of the bat. like they dont eploy with their gliders or something. you should submit a bug report
I’ve realised you can rotate props with prop mover if you turn to the event system for devices!
The cool thing that needs to be added ASAP Like when you spawn you are in a small metallic astronaut and when it's touched the ground It explodes and the fight begins it's soo AMAZING!
This is pretty cool but I hope they can add more settings to do awesome game modes, and maybe even events!
Also I heard some Persona music towards the end, don't suppose for a building short, you could do the Paulownia Mall from Persona 3? :)

Mustard, u need to do the rift thing before anything else. If u play a match before, it wont work. But if u have permissions, then phase out and u have access to the br island

The storm moving is like horde rush
you can use the chest device to make it so no chests spawns so its a picaxe battle its really cool

You can add props and walls in the box by taking props from outside the box to inside same with any walls or floors
If you use a rift instead of the battle bus as a jump point, the bots will spawn in the circle (I only tested when the circle is already covering a part of the map
Bro I love watching u and if u throw a sneaky snowman out of the barrier and start game then die to fall damage and end game then go through the snowman u will be able to fly out of the barrier(credits to Gki for that trick)
Would love if you could make another in depth video with this new mode!
One thing I have to let you know is that with the rift glitch, you can get permissions out there but it’s a bit complicated.

Still really peeved we don’t get to really customise the lootpool and have to pick from presets
I've been saying it for years... Creative is the FUTURE. This game has changed the industry and will continue to do so for years to come. Love to see all the new updates weekly
fortnite has not changed things for the better. creative maybe the future of the game but with the memory limits (even in 2.0 it seems ) its not a good future. just use unreal engine.
I was really hoping I could build some kind of horde rush on the island so I’m praying they let us place devices on the actual island

Mustard, if you spam your phone button when rifting, you can edit the BR island
with the loot device, you can get to use vaulted items depending on what you choose

7:13 you can actually customise melee weapons but its only limited to the basic sword and hammer.
Mustard , you can go outside the island WITH the permissions aka phone. You need to start game and go to a high place and die from fall damage and then restore island and THEN rift to go
Hey mustard you can build on the main island by starting the game and dying of fall damage, then using a rift to go really fast. This might take a few attempts.

Lol I got the phone on the game somehow and resized the crane into a MASSIVE structure and it was crazy and the changes save between rounds making me think we will get editable BR maps once it is out of beta

Channels do work. I made it so that when I spawn a sequencer goes off (because of a channel 1 signal) and the sequencer activates a trigger which sends a pulse of channel 2 witch activates a item granter to give me items that are vaulted
We need this for imposters too, I miss that game mode 😢

i kinda wish that we could press the br island and it has it own like area to see each season and play on it and create stuff on it and then make it empty or not

Hey Mustard, i recommend you watching GKI's recent video which shows how you can actually use the creative phone on the Br Island!
Use the rift to go and press tool button quickly and then you can build on the island
You can build on the island with the exploit, however you need to have the phone before the rift so it grants it to you
Atleast you can make this br island update entertaining

Mustard use the rift too get out then fly over the border the when your on the map flying fly up really high until you dont have edits then glide down and you will get your edits with the ability to pick up and delete things please use this as one of your myths

I managed to make a kinda fiveM game mode, a fully functional role play island with no loot because you select a class, a you can be a civilian, or police, army, SWAT, you can also be, part of a militia, or you can be a builder or paramedic
Most of the devices i don’t know how to use them on this map, but in ordinary creative i do

FINALLY LETS GOOOOOOO, now we need previous islands
Mustard, There is a glitch to get out of the Box and still keep YOUR PHONE!! You have to place a device out of the box and use the teleport to device button and you will be out of the box and EDIT THE BR ISLAND! This was patched though 😢😢 but you can still do it and not keep the phone but you can still fly around the island!!
i did that glitch like the one you use the rift and battel bus before th vid was on
I wish you could select exactly where the storm will be so you can have a 100 player br at one specific poi.

Glitch king made a video on how to enter the main island without starting the game, that video will help you customize the island itself
Mustard, we CAN build on the island, it just takes multiple tries
I got a bug which makes bots invincible and to activate it they just have to swim very far off the island
Another way to get out the box is with a sneaky snowman
Kinda disappointed that we can’t build on the island, there is so much creative potential with it

Chad if you go out of the barrier that would usually be on creative (the way you do it is make sure your able to fly at game start) fly out then glide when your out end game (spawn at br island with edits)

We need to get the Skydome device, that would be a game changer
We should be able to make the loot custom so we don't have to just have like certain guns and certain raritys

if you start a game then die and immediately use rift-to-go you can fly and build on the island
If you place a platform outside the barrier then place a snowman on that platform then go into the snowman you'll 9/10 keep your phone then you can just fly to main island and grab the zero point or whatever you want to do

hey mustard plays/chad if you go into the br island and do duo's and then you get knocked you don't get revied even if you're right in front of the bot teammate (I don't know how to change it but it just keep's making me go in to duo's) btw I love you're video's.
