- Finale: The Last Mantaray and More Show is a live DVD by Siouxsie, released in 2009. It was the last show of the MantaRay and More Tour which took place on 29 September 2008 at London's KOKO.
Wow! She is still as beautiful as ever! She is such an amazing artist. So much respect for Siouxsie and the Banshees. I never get tired of their music. So beautiful!
Siouxie is as stunning as ever , have always loved this track
Me too...but the 1983 clip wheres she's dressed as a squaw
who's Siouxie?? its fucking Siouxsie!!
Absolutely stunning in divine beauty grace power elegance strength passion love and fearlessness
This is one of my favourite of Siouxsie's images, the one I love best is the Israel t shirt and fishnets look circa 1981. Also the Louise brooks bobbed hair and 1940s movie star tailoring image for Peepshow is brilliant as well. Such a style icon as well as musical genius
love the siouxsie look and the music
Seeing this in 2019 in this outfit holding the stage with her commanding vocal presence I can’t help but think about St Vincent 20 years from now
I liked her big fuzzy hair look best
Great track , love ❤️ Siouxsie forever 💋💋🇮🇲👍
She is still gorgeous even at an older age. An odd and rare magnetic trait she has.
STILL MAGICAL....IN 30 YRS ..........UN****INGBELIEVABLE. I know why i loved this band immidiately, Join Hands was just released. I humbly bow for Siouxie Sioux, Steven Severin, Budgie, and all the guitarists....Even R.Smith. (A surprise at Roskilde in -84 or 85.)
Torgeir Tunold-Hanssen Robert was to to be the Guitarist of the band but left for the Cure. Sad but true

RS was invited by the Banshees to help them on tour because the Cure was supporting them and they lost Mc Geoch at that time. So robert Smith performed each evening, the 2 sets, with the Cure, and with the Banshees. He and Severin became best friends and they produced the side project "the Glove". Later Polydor wanted to persuade Robert Smith to enter officially the Banshees in order to form a "super band" but this failed.
Robert was more interesting in building his own project with The Cure, and also his participation was not a success... saying other members, his guitar lines in hyaena took long time to complete and were no so tremendous. I am sad to say I agree with the later.
But Robert Smith performed well in some quite good gigs with the group, as for proof the magical "Nocturne". I'd been at their show in Paris for the Hyaena tour and Robert Smith was brilliant that time. Supporting the Banshees was Jad Wio, and they just lightened up the hall.
Well finally we can say that Robert smith was not the appropriate guitarist for the Banshees, in terms of creation. But on stage he sometimes put the level at a pinacle that later guitarist will never reach.
Many bad comments, but, she´s the one and only, no one like her!
ignore the bad vibes Roberto their just trolls . We know Siouxsie is fantastic &our queen & goddess of love ❤️.
Just so damn cool!!
Brilliant song about Yorkshire Ripper!!!
This shows that Siouxsie and the Banshees were a band and not a solo act with a backing band.
Love the look and altittue of Siouxsie, Nevertheless Budgie and Severin are irreplacebable...
This is when she could still sing.. she can't anymore. The Queen just can't. 💔
the real queen
All hail the ice queen; even after 30+ years of singing she's still got it
QUEEEEN
We love everything that Sioxsie did and does, but as a Heavy Metal lover, this track speaks to us a bit more than say PEE A BOO. Lol. CITIES IN DUST forever and ever❤❤❤😮😮😮
Diosa maravillosa. mantienes tu alma incólume. No importa el paso de los años. Eres incorruptible, bella mujer. No te vistes de traje Chanel por tener mas de 50 años, como Debby Harris.
Poquísimas mujeres con un estilo tan único como ella. Tiene una presencia gotica y a la vez muy elegante
Dark Otherworldly Goddess I worship you❤
Can't take my eyes of 'it'
Lorne Campbell haha! That outfit has a strong focal point ya?
🖤
Saw the second permanent incarnation of the band at the same venue (then called Music Machine) in March 1980, when they previewed the material that would eventually come out on Kaleidoscope. Amazingly unexpected and innovative to hear at the time
Te amé, te amo y te amaré por siempre...
Really good band behind her here. Guitarist is spot on.
no the guitarist wasnt..was off..the whole song was to slow and it didnt sound wright...
Joe Pinto Correct. Siouxsie is horrible out of tune too and no other guitarist in her band has been able to replicate John McGeoch's sound and tone.
Joe Pinto Have you heard some of the recent attempts at McGeoch's parts? Especially Knox Chandler?!
woodyamsterdam JVC was close. Sioux herself lost her voice years ago
graemereaper I dont really think her lost her voice, but doesnt seam she wants to put in the effort in singing..Pat benatar is close to siousie age and she still got it!!...The only guitarist thats close to john playing was Robert Smith..who filled in when john left the band..
I don't care. I don't care. I don't care.....THAT IS ONE BAD ASS BITCH!!!!
Black and heavy! :0)
Me muerooooooooo❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think she sounds great here. So her voice dropped? Shit changes. Get over it and enjoy it for what it's become.
Hola Siouxsie
Noisy boisies.
SS is doing her Dietrich impression.
Like Dietrich she found the way into singing her songs in a lower voice, that's only good!
ÚNICA!!
Not bad , if you're a banshees fan it's missing Mcgeoch
I was at this gig & said at the time how bad her band were & I haven't changed my mind I still think that this is not their style of playing & they can't do it however good they might be at other stuff shows how great a band the Banshees were Siouxsie is Amazing as ever,
Last show sure. But not least ? I missed her
🙂🤗
agog
I LOVE Siouxsie Sioux... but this version is too slow!
Severin, Budgie and Robert Smith nailed it on the Nocturne live album: impossible to match!
I saw that live in Sydney.
The 1983 live one is the Best, where she's dressed as a squaw
It's not the speed. Her vocals are uninspired here.
The best ones are the ons by McGeoch live in 1981 (before he voice really started to go) - this sounds terrible. They've tuned it down about 3 semitones for her restricted range and she's still flat. Slowing it down also didn't help either and this guitarist _isn't_ good
Too bad, that the audio's so poor. Otherwise...
I can’t get over how she and Bono look so much alike!
Black music
Doesn't sound menacing, needs the original John Mc or even fat Bob Budgie and Severin
The band cannot capture the style or sound of the banshees.
Her voice is gone and her band lacks the intense energy of the Banshees.
Quel massacre...
No female artist comes near
Very poor. Stick to the original.
Looking Gorgeous but sounding absolutely washed up
Crap
Dave Ronaldson fuck off loser. Be better than don’t crap on others. Anyway who cares if you think it’s crap? Oh hey everyone the VIP DAVE RONALDSON has spoken- the banshees are crap? Hear? Now have a changed day knowing this and btw thank you RD for your profound insight
She is so hot.. always has been but scorching in this video....and love her voice too... great track
Yes
